Ramada by Wyndham Telford Ironbridge

Ramada by Wyndham Telford Ironbridge

8/10 Good
"Hotel and room was very clean. Soap, shampoo and conditioner smelt amazing. Surprisingly quiet, considering that our room was facing the main street. Breakfast was great. However, pillows were very hard and uncomfortable, mattress not the best either. I hardly had any sleep, as I could not get comfortable. Food prices are reasonable, but quality of food fairly poor. I had a beef burger 🍔 but did not enjoy it. Cheap burger bun and burger itself. Chips were nice"

"Great stay, apart from a bit of paint flaking on bathroom door and bathroom seals, apart from that a great stay"

"5th stay here. Always a lovely visit. Highly recommend breakfast. Clean room and nice amenities. Had to use the overflow parking around the back. But its a better spot less crowded and very handy if you're staying in the annex building which we prefer."

"Location was perfect for Welshpool. Charlie was welcoming, efficient and friendly. We had lunch when we arrived. The food was excellent and inexpensive. Breakfast was not as good as the staff member was inattentive. I chose from a varied menus of cooked breakfast scrambled egg on toast which was served badly cooked and dry on dry toast. There was also a selection of cereals and juices to choose from. The room was small but well decorated and comfortable with a bright and clean en suite. The bar was welcoming and well stocked. Overall a good experience and I would definitely return but without choosing scrambled egg for breakfast."

"We stayed for one night. It was a little warm in the room, but we discovered a fan in the cupboard. Generally a comfortable stay in a good location to get to a show at Theatre Severn. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. Parking was an essential and at £5 per night was reasonable. We hear the hotel is changing hands soon. I hope the standards are kept high."

"Great budget hotel if that's what you're looking for. Cant complain at all. Especially as it is structurally 250-300 years old. Great food, friendly staff, warm room, comfy bed, clean halls & quiet. Allowed me to use the leisure hours before check-in. Good leisure facilities; towels on arrival, pool and jacuzzi are lovely, sauna & steam room are great. Gym is okay. some machines are out of use/faulty, but you can still get a workout in. Petty improvements: Mens shower control knobs are borderline broken and need replacing. Pool table was faulty A few gym machines are faulty For the price, would definitely stay again."
