"We stayed in a double room for the purposes of visiting Alton Towers. The location was perfect being about 40 minutes away. The room was basic but clean and comfortable with a private shower and toilet. No tv but this was fine. Downstairs had a communal kitchen and seated area which was clean. I only used facilities to make a cup of tea. Joseph (manager) was welcoming, friendly and was always nearby to answer any questions. £20 refundable deposit was required for the room key. "Excellent experience. Ideally placed if you travel up and down the country and very comfortable. Dinner excellent, breakfast too. The sitting room is very relaxed, and there is a resident cat who doesn't bother you at all."

"Everyone at this facility were polite and helpful. Many useful things and places nearby, such as a big store with everything you need and want (grocery, electronics, cooking ware, and more). Only 2 - 3 blocks away, pedestrian friendly path to barber shops, restaurants, bar, pubs, coffee shops, and an indoor mall about 5 - 6 blocks away from hotel. Walking paths on the Trent River and more. Motorhead (Lemmy fans) can go to a statue in Burslem, a little bit north of the hotel as well....
