"We spent four nights at this hotel. * It was very clean * Comfortable space in reception to relax away from the bedroom * Bedroom was a comfortable size * Dinner for the four of us was expensive, but to be fair everything is at the moment. The food and service however were very good. * One concern - I badly sprained my ankle and the only bandages the hotel could supply was a triangular or knee bandage. "

"I would not recommend this hotel. The view is amazing if you get a bridge view room HOWEVER for the price this hotel is kind of run down. We checked in at 430 and was told our room wasn’t ready. The staff member checking us in was super sweet and understanding however when we got to our room 45 mins later it seemed it had been cleaned in haste. The floor was FILTHY I’m talking chunks of stuff on the floor , splattered make up on the wall and there was pooling water on the surfaces, mold on the pillows, not enough towels and no shampoo. There also was noisy construction in the lobby and around the hotel that I think will be around for a while. Previous hotels I’ve stayed at warn you about that. Overall it was lacklustre for the price and I was extremely disappointed. Save your money and stay elsewhere."

"I was attending an event which finished late, and I didn't want to travel home alone. So I looked for somewhere close by to stay which didn't break the bank. The Strand Palace Hotel offers single-bed rooms that come with a luxury shower room stocked with Rituals products, large wardrobe, table & chair, a desk and huge TV. Plus free wifi, bottle of water and bar of chocolate... and all for £110. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel room was quiet & comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again. "

"Excellent position for getting around London. Walking distance from local stations and the Olympic Park and Westfield. Easy quick check in. Bathroom a little tired but didn't affect use. Had a room at the front over the main road. Wasn't particularly noisy but possibly could be in the summer with the window open for air."

"This is a lovely centrally located hotel providing a very comfortable stay. The breakfast spread was incredible and very fresh, with halal and vegan options that we appreciated very much."

"It’s a good hotel, it’s a Hyatt. It’s just not as good as all the others I’ve stayed at. Gym is not as good as others I’ve stayed at and they don’t honour the normal upgrades that we get as part of the rewards program too. Staff do a good job but there always seems to be a queue so there may not be enough of them. I’d recommend the hotel but don’t rely on the standard upgrades you get at other Hyatts and it’s not that competitive when you look at others available in the area."

"Hotel was ok for 1 night but in no rush to return and definitely wouldn’t stay for longer than one night. By no means was it dirty but the room was not up to standard. Found multiple things that weren’t cleaned properly e.g. big smudges across the window and a fake eyelash in the window sill, dirty skirting board etc. The downstairs area of the hotel was nice and clean though. Staff were friendly but not particularly helpful when we were asking questions. Parking £20 for 24 hours. Keep in mind the entire bar is alcohol free. Nice and quiet hotel."
