"Great location for walking around Old City, and over to Reading Terminal Market. We lucked out and got to check in very early. Also lucky to get a room on the hall that doesn't open out to the atrium, which can get quite loud."

"Overall the property is nice and mostly clean but there were a few occasions where guests spilled liquids, milk& cereal and the staff was very slow to have it clean. It was a surprise that there is only one washer and one dryer for the entire hotel. Impossible to use unless you spend you’re entire stay watching and waiting for an opportunity."

"The hotel is very nice. However there is a outdoor nightclub right behind the hotel. The music and bass was like you were at a nightclub right in your room. We went there to get a good night sleep before our basketball tournament. We slept maybe 3 hours due to all the loud music. The bass was shaking the room until 2 am. We have been trying to reach the hotel but nobody answers"

"The airport shuttle was the best part about the stay. We booked this room a month or two ago (king bed) but got a double full size bed room, and our toilet bowl was missing the seat and seat cover! Holes in the walls, and duct tape held the shower head on. They tried to put us in another room, but it smelled like a dog kennel. The next morning, the elevators didnt work. The fire alarm also went off for about 3 minutes in the middle of the night. We couldn't sleep, use the restroom, and barely showered. The staff DID TRY to help us, but they clearly dont have the resources necessary."

"Was not impressed with DoubleTree. The room was out dated, musty and smelled of mold. We asked to be relocated but the hotel was sold out due to Penn Relay. The staff was pleasant and requested housekeeping to vacuum the carpet. But the smell returned. Buffet breakfast was ok but not much variety if staying multiple days. Next year we will return to Embassy Suites. "

"The hotel was clean, and the view from our room was absolutely amazing — definitely the best part of our stay. However, for the amount we paid, it did not feel worth it. There was no swimming pool, no complimentary coffee for guests, and only water was provided, unlike other hotels we’ve stayed at. If given the choice again, I would probably book a different hotel for the same price because I expected more value for what we paid."

"There was a problem with room heating.( maintaimce man said it affected whole bldg).We requested extra blankets, which helped.( didn't have to sleep in jackets. The maintaince man brought us an electric heater from his office this made a vast difference.We are in our 80"s, so need a bedroom above 64 degrees. Hopefully we will get a reduced rate stay soon. Thanks"

"This is the worst extended stay I've stayed at. Nothing was available when asked, nothing maintained, pictures definitely don't match the current condition. Then, to top it off, was introduced to to bedbugs thanks to this hotel. It's clearly been abused and neglected for some time. Sad experience, glad it wasn't my first extended stay, but it needs love before I'd stay again"
