"It had only opened a month before, following extensive refurbishment, so I was expecting nothing less than perfect! But the room we were given smelt bad! Like unclean people had been in there, nothing fresh/clean about it, but we decided to stick with it overnight. The next night.we had an issue with the smart tv-there were no freeview channels & only one app installed, BBC iPlayer, which was ridiculous! We asked for someone to come and fix it. They couldn't, so offered to move us to a different room. We were more than happy to do this, especially as the smell was still horrible in there. We moved to room 327 & this smelt so fresh & properly cleaned, it was lovely, &2 the tv worked. However we did need a new remote control & the Wi-Fi connection to the tv was dreadful. We could watch freeview, but couldn't use the one app! We put up with this, as we didn't want to complain again. The room was lovely & quiet, and very dark, ...bliss. The free breakfast was brilliant. Hot cooked food, fruit, cereals, porridge, toast, croissants, mini muffins, yoghurt, unlimited hot drinks, juice, choice of milks & two coffee machines, which could be better as they are so slow! But when it wasn't so busy at breakfast, this wasn't a problem. Great location for fuel and access to the M5, plus other shops right opposite like Costa, Greggs, Lidl, a Marstons pub right next door (The White Willow), plus a farm shop selling meat etc. DO NOT PAY for parking! Plenty of road space all around the hotel 😊"

"Great location to explore Taunton. Room was spotlessly clean and well equipped, however the bathroom was tired and would benefit from an upgrade. Breakfast highly recommend and very helpful staff. Would stay again"

"Well placed just off the M5 a couple of miles North of Bridgewater. Plenty of parking. Spacious, clean room. Decent shower etc. Continental breakfast included, other options available with extra charge. Needed to get away early, so can't comment on the food. A single night to break the journey down to Cornwall. Would stay again"
