"We had a great time at Sea La Vie. It's a fab location, just sit outside to hear the sea and waves coming in, and that's pretty much all you can hear apart from the odd seagull! It's so quiet. Great base for a relaxed surfing holiday. Really well equipped kitchen. We didn't get in the car once in 8 days as there was everything we needed within a short walk. Highly likely we'll be back!"

"Beautifully appointed flat with sea view from the window in the sitting room. It was only a two minute walk to the beach and less to several friendly and pleasant eating places. We mainly stayed in Combe Martin, going for walks on the beach and further afield but did visit RHS Rosemoor at Great Torrington - about an hour's car journey away in the middle of the week, when the weather was at its warmest. It was great to have the parking permit, which allowed us to park in several nearby locations....

Had not known about Appledore before we went but its just perfect, would definitely reccomend, from the rockpooling and crabbing opportunities with the kids to wandering down to the Coffee Cabin first thing and simply enjoying the holiday atmosphere and estuary views. The breakfasts are delicious and nothing is too much trouble. We had a great time staying there and is an ideal base to explore Devon!
