"We have stayed at the cottage several times and we love it! The cottage is immaculate. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, even a towel in the porch for muddy dog paws. The weather was mixed but we managed to go walking every day. Walked up to North Hill and saw some lovely Exmoor ponies and our dog loved playing on Dunster beach. We will definitely be back."

"The property is well situated for exploring Exmoor, both on foot and by car. A short walk takes you to Exford where there are 2 pubs and a teashop(the hub for star gazing nights on a Thursday). There is also a fantastic playground on the green. We were welcomed with home baked bread, spreads and a delicious cake. The cottage has everything, even towels for our dog. "We stayed 3 days here. We were mostly out of the home but it is on a very quiet street that when we slept we didn’t have any issues of traffic or other people. The stairs can be difficult so it you have stairs be prepared. They are a beautiful set of stairs. You are in waling distance of multiple restaurants. The host was VERY accommodating and assured us when we arrived early. It was very much appreciated!"

"We had a small misunderstanding about the composition of our group meaning we didn't have the right combination of beds made up - but the owners responded quickly and helpfully, as they did to all questions. The large kitchen dining area was a fabulous feature, so was the lounge. The garden was also fabulous although the weather wasn't kind to us so we couldn't use it as much as we hoped. "Delightful accommodation with plenty of space to for our three generations and what a location. Had not known about Appledore before we went but its just perfect, would definitely reccomend, from the rockpooling and crabbing opportunities with the kids to wandering down to the Coffee Cabin first thing and simply enjoying the holiday atmosphere and estuary views. We finshed with a meal at the Beaver Inn (book early as its busy)- really nice pub. Oh, and not forgetting the Devonshire ice cream...
