"We had a lovely stay in the cabin. Perfectly located to get to lovely cliff walks and the sea and Paula is an amazing host always on hand to help with anything we needed. We would love to go back. The cabin is really well equipped and is deceptively spacious inside. The view from the deck of the cabin was lovely - straight over to the sea and whilst there are other houses around it felt private and set back from other gardens."

"Just what we'd hoped and more - a beautiful Shepherds Hut, romantic and warm, stylishly furnished with great attention to detail. It made our first trip without our kids feel very special! "We had a great holiday, started with Andrew showing us to the log cabin to give us a quick run down of the lodge and supporting documentation, which we found really useful. Andrew then left stating if we needed any help with anything do not hesitate to call. The lodge was the cleanest and best equipped that we have ever stayed in, everything has been thought of. Views are amazing and wildlife abounds from birds to rabbits don’t forget to look out for the bats at dusk. Centrally based so easy...

"We were made to feel very welcome and had a fun stay. The cabin is brilliant, we loved the outdoor/indoor kitchen, the pool table, the seating area. Inside the cabin, it's clean with a comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. I would recommend a stay. The location is perfect too, just a quick drive to the beaches, and has two nice pubs in the village."

"A wonderful cottage with the sweetest hosts. We picked the Duckpool lodge after reading several reviews on overall cleanliness and they were right. The cottage was immaculate and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend away. We enjoyed the quiet seclusion of the area but the convenience of many beaches and attractions not far away. I highly recommend visiting Tintagel and/or Boscatle for an active day out. Well worth the drive. "

"We had a thoroughly enjoyable three night stay here. The lodge is well equipped with everything you could need. It’s very well decorated with some lovely finishing touches. The beds and sofas were all very comfortable. My only complaint would be that the throws and cushion covers on the sofas could have done with a wash as they were covered in dog hairs. We would definitely look to stay here again in the summer, and hopefully the weather will be in our favour."
