Lovely country pub. Staff friendly and very accomodating. Great food and service. Awesome shower and clean room. Would recommend staying here if your passing through the area.

Great stay, clean room comfortable bed, more so as we left our pillow there.... Well equipped room and bathroom with good shower. Lovely pub, very nice food. Very dog friendly pub. Would definitely use again if travelling in the area.

Great pit stop on return from Scotland
Stayed here to break up our journey on the way back from two weeks in the north of Scotland. Easy to find, and to park outside. The young lady who checked us in was very welcoming, helpful and professional. Room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Excellent evening meal, and high quality cooked breakfast in the morning. All in all, a very good stay, very happy.

Exceptional service and a lovely stay
We stayed in the cottage for one night as a break on our journey to Aberdeenshire from Hampshire. The cottage is lovely, very clean and even has a fuzeball table which our teenage sons loved. We received a warm welcome including our dog. There are TVs in all the rooms and a very well equipped kitchen. If you don’t want to cook, try the food in the pub, that also was excellent and great value.

A pleasant stay in Northumberland at the Blue Bell
We were pleasantly surprised with our room,it was of good size and and airy with a view of the garden.The shower was amazing - large,easy to use and good pressure.The breakfast would have fed a family and was beautifully cooked and presented. The only drawback to our stay was the evening meal on our last night,the meal arrived after we had waited a considerable time,the mashed potato potato was dry and lumpy and the pie overcooked.The place was very busy and had minimal staff which I felt was a major contribution to this problem.Overall our stay was enjoyable and the staff were great,pleasant and friendly.Yes,I would stay again and intend to in the immediate future

The check-in was easy. We arrived around 8:00 and asked about eating dinner. They stated as long as we got done there before 8:30. Breakfast was included, but we were leaving prior to serving time (we were leaving at 7:00). No discount or other options for a "to go" breakfast were offered. The room was extremely hot, but a fan was provided in the room which was nice. The shower was outstanding! The beds were comfortable.

We had a lovely stay the room was clean and comfortable and much bigger than you would normally get.(room4) super king and king bed in our room. . Breakfast was great and we ate at the hotel a couple of nights, food was lovely. Staff very helpful. Great location for exploring the area.

Great place to stay
Check in was a little rushed and we had to ask about when payment should be made. Lovely pub serving good food and a lovely breakfast. Room was nice and spacious and great value for money. Only criticism is that the bathroom ceiling in Room 2 needs some attention as part was being held by a wedge of wood. Room was also chilly so maybe radiators could be turned up slightly before guests arrive to take chill off room but understand it’s expensive to heat a room now

On route to Edinburgh, great little pit stop from north England into Scotland. Wonderful breakfast and the room was very clean with an excellent warm shower. Loved our stay.
