"Such a beautiful cosy home with heated floors and a fire! The surroundings were beautiful, not to mention the friendliest cats ever and two gorgeous ponies. Seán (the host) was so lovely and speaks beautiful Irish too. Would absolutely recommend to anyone from a few friends to a full family trip. Will be definitely be staying here again! "We had a lovely stay in Ballinrobe. The house was plenty big for our large crew, clean and warm, once Kathleen helped us to turn on the furnace and hot water heater.There are three bedrooms downstairs - 2 with queen beds and ensuites and 1 room with 2 single beds. There is a full bath off the hallway near the large kitchen and separate living room with a peat fireplace. Upstairs are three more bedrooms all with ensuites - 2 with 2 single beds and one with 2 single beds and one queen bed. All linens are provided. The kitchen is well appointed including a stove/oven, refrig, hot water kettle, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher and plenty of dishes/utensils. We loved the large table. There is a washing machine, but no dryer. We placed clothes on the radiators to dry - which was very effective. WiFi worked great.We enjoyed walking down the lane to see the sheep surrounding the property - and the many rainbows that appeared between the rain.Kathleen was quick to reply to our questions and we appreciate all her help as we arrived. Ballinrobe has a Aldi and a Tesco - only about 10 min away, so we were easily able to stock up on supplies, including Thanksgiving dinner!Thank you for a great stay!"
