"The property was amazing and the view is so incredibly beautiful. Rain or shine, it doesn't matter when you are staying at this beautiful property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we even got to feed the donkeys!"

"Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. "Our family of four spent three nights at Oakleaf Cottage and loved it!! The home is cozy, with all the accommodations including a full kitchen large living room and washer/dryer. The views are fantastic. Aine was so helpful offering recommendations for the many, many delicious restaurants in Westport. I would recommend this home to family and friends who want to explore this stunning region of Ireland. "

"The hotel was lovely; the staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful: right in the middle of all the action and quiet in the evening. Breakfast was very good, though a few suggestions: maybe not make toast before you get your eggs? Also, at a table for two, perhaps serve four, not three, pieces of toast? The fruit was ok, though a bit soggy. We stayed in Room 23 and there was a faint smell of cigarettes that came through our room, possibly because people might have been smoking right outsider our room? Also, our door had to be pulled shut when we used it..it didn't shut completely on its own. We loved the staff; everyone at the front desk was very friendly and very knowledgeable in making recommendations about local activities and restaurants. When we checked out, the manager made a suggestion about where we should go to lunch on our way from Westport to Sligo. We would definitely return to the Wyatt! "

A quick and easy drive into the main area of Westport. We spent time exploring Achill Island and the Wild Nephin National Park. Beautiful! "

"Large and impressive hotel in Westport located about 20 minutes walk from the centre of town. Very friendly and efficient staff throughout the hotel. Our classic double room was spacious, spotless and well appointed with a great bathroom. We had dinner in the bar and breakfast in the restaurant- both experiences were very good with excellent food and service and great views. Plenty of free parking within the landscaped grounds. Would definitely stay again - unfortunately we only had one night and would have liked to stay longer. "

The hotel had convenient FREE parking on site, rooms had all the amenities you needed and was in walking distance to the main shopping areas.
