"We enjoyed our stay-all the comforts of home were included. We had one elderly but healthy family member with us. Since bedrooms were on the top floor and bathroom/living room were on the middle floor, I was a bit worried about the narrow stairwell for my dad. Other than that, the place was clean, convenient, quiet, and great for our stay in Japan. "

"This house is fine for older children and adults. Young children need to be monitored to ensure they don’t fall through the bannister or down the steep, dark, sharp-edged stairs. Also, showers are challenging for very young children. On the other hand, there is a nice play ground just around the corner for little ones. The ground floor has a toilet, but no shower, the top floor only has a shower, but no toilet or sink."

HOTEL GROOVE SHINJUKU, A PARKROYAL Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing hotel overall. The hotel room was large enough for 3 people to stay in there comfortably. Amenities were very clean and I am very particular about restrooms. There is a great view of the city as well! This really exceeded expectations! Great location to get around, but it is Shinjuku so just be aware there are lots of late night shenanigans with crowds. However, you don't hear it from the hotel."
