"Being a historic building it was very well maintained and updated. The staff was attentive and friendly, enjoyed the afternoon champagne and cheese in the lobby with the piano player. Done very nicely. Have been to a couple of other hotels recently with manager receptions that were lackluster but this one was nice, good quality and well attended. The service team was very good and even though we had an issue with the hot water early on in our stay it was immediately explained and action was taken. "
