"There was very loud music in the room above us that lasted until 4 am and was shaking the walls , we then woke up at 6:45 am to the neighbours shouting. The walls where clearly very thin ."

"Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. A nice big fridge and wardrobe space. Only small issues were that the tv signal was poor so couldn’t watch anything and I would fit a small shelf in the shower to put toiletries on as you could not reach the soap dispenser outside the shower which by the way was empty on my stay there."

"booked this property specifically because the listing said it had an oven, which was important as I was travelling for a strongman competition and had planned my meals around being able to cook. When we arrived, there was no oven, which completely disrupted my food prep and meant I had to change plans at extra cost. The stay was also badly affected by very loud roadworks starting after midnight, including a concrete saw and jackhammer, which made it extremely difficult to sleep. I appreciate roadworks may not always be under the host’s control, but if they were known in advance, guests should have been warned. To make things worse, police attended around 8am. We do not know exactly what happened, but it was unsettling and not something you want to experience during a stay. Overall, the property did not match the listing, the lack of oven caused real inconvenience and extra expense, and the noise/early morning disturbance made it a poor stay. I would not book again, especially if you need reliable facilities or a good night’s sleep."

"Great hotel with spacious clean rooms, helpful friendly and welcoming staff. Tea and coffee, toiletries and towels in rooms. Well stocked bar and good menu for evening meals. Breakfast is a mix of continental and cooked and a good choice available. Parking on site is £6 but well worth it to have your vehicle in a safe, well lit space with cctv. I would definitely stay here again."

"Great for an overnight stay, the bedroom was clean. Building has seen better days but for the price it was ideal for what I needed."

"Great hotel: clean, calm and well organised. Staff across the board were all excellent, with a special mention to the lady on reception who came to my aid in a moment of clothing crisis! I was here on business but would definitely choose this hotel if I was visiting the area for pleasure."
