"About two blocks away from the beach, felt very safe in the neighborhood. Great food options close by. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs different sausages and lots of fresh fruit and bread options. My only complaint is the scrambled eggs were very wet but overall great food at breakfast! Room was a little small but very clean and nice. Pool was so beautiful and they have a sauna and place to hangout on the roof with great views. I would definitely stay here...

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Rio. I was fortunate enough to stay in one of their renovated rooms near the top floor, and it was incredible. The new soft bed, the room decor was fresh and the VIEW from the balcony was incredible. Breakfast on the first floor was very well displayed, and the staff at the hotel was very welcoming. Can’t forget the rooftop pool and restaurant. Make sure you check it out. I will definitely return."

"We love Recanto. The staff was accommodating of our early check-in and a few other special requests. The food (especially breakfast!) was delicious. We loved all the different pool options and the morning fitness classes. Our only wish was that the whirlpools on the bottom level were a little hotter. We hired a guide for Las Cataratas through the hotel, and they were top notch. We would also highly recommend booking a treatment at the spa during your stay. It was the perfect way to unwind in...

"The Sheraton Grand Rio is an excellent choice in Rio de Janeiro, with beautiful views and all amenities one could desire (excellent tennis courts, beautiful pool area, good restaurants, nice lounge and fitness/wellness area). Staff is very friendly an d the rooms are comfortable. Would stay there again."

"This hotel is located in front of Copacabana beach, and also short distance to Ipanema beach. Lots of restaurants near by. The view from the rooftop pool is amazing. Yet the price is not outrageous. "
