You don't even need to get out of building to have Beppu Hell Tour bus as it is just beside front desk. Property is also near the Beppu Tower and beach which is perfect place for dinning and tour option. You will have nice public bath place for free as many Japanese hotels does (This is amazing) Employees are not fluent in English but it is acceptable as you don't need much...

"It was a wonderful stay. The outdoor bath was amazing and not too too hot so you could enjoy it and relax. The staff were helpful and the rooms made up every day. It is easily accessible from the highway Amand is very well situated close to the mountain road leading to the amusement park, the safari and Yufuin. "
