"Beautiful property would definately come back in the warmer months. A little away from main downtown Panajachel but the Tuktuk would pick us up no problems. Yvan was supernice and helpful. Walked 25min to the thermal waters and what a nice hike and experience. His brother the Chef cooked up some Syrian cuisine that was amazing! We only wish we had another day or two to try it again. Loved, loved, loved it!"

"I loved everything about this hotel. The views were stunning. The bathroom was so beautiful. My bed was so comfortable. I usually travel to explore but I booked this hotel specifically to relax and enjoy the hotel itself. Food and drinks were good as well. You can hear everything from the nearby rooms and the dogs will wake you up at 5:30am, but just in time for sunrise. The area itself is full of backpackers and hippies, not my scene but I stayed in the hotel. A 3 min walk is a park where you can jump off into the lake. I stayed on a rainy Sunday night so I didnt experience the loud music from neighboring spots. No ac but the fan was perfect. Definitely will stay here again."

"We had a room on the top floor and there was an accompanying terrace with a table and some chairs. I had my morning coffee there, as they have a kitchen with a microwave and a fridge downstairs. The room was spacious and they had air conditioning, which was greatly appreciated as it was incredibly hot. There were a lot of stairs to climb, but we had a view of the lake. For what we paid, it was wonderful. We are budget travelers. There are some restaurants right across the street which were a bit noisy on Friday night, but it wasn’t a problem and certainly worth the view. "

"We loved our peaceful stay here. It’s clear that the volunteers really care about guest experience - especially Nicole. Christian was also very helpful and kind throughout our stay - an invaluable asset to the hotel. Be warned that if mobility is an issue, you should not stay here as the cabins are hundreds of stairs from the restaurant. But you are rewarded with beautiful views of the lake - which, in our view, was worth it. Dinner was 150q per night, but it was an amazing three course meal - very worth it! There is free coffee and tea and the coffee was the best we have had on our trip so far in Guatemala. I would definitely stay here again! "
