Parsons Riverside Retreat: Steps away from a rolling mountain stream and trails

"We've stayed at the Parson's Riverside Retreat several times, and as usual, it was amazing. Cleanliness is off the charts. The kitchen has everything you'd need during your stay. Nothing better than porch sitting here and watching the river meander by. We will definitely return again. Thank you for sharing this lovely little slice of heaven."

"The chalet is a wonderful place to stay. It is secluded enough to be around nature. It is conveniently located around some scenic spots . The home has many amenities that you will need to make sure you stay as comfortable. The hot tub is amazing and has wonderful view. It’s a very relaxing and comfortable home. The host was wonderful from the very beginning before our stay and through our stay. He was responsive to any questions I had and was very helpful. He also provided an orientation document ahead of time which was very helpful to help get me up to speed on the property. If you’re in the Davis, West Virginia area this a wonderful property to stay at. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely stay there when we return to West Virginia in the future."

"gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps."

"Absolutely beautiful location. We spent a week here for our honeymoon and loved it! Very private with no neighbors. We were next to the creek and opened the windows at night to hear the birds and water. Enjoyed taking our kayaks to the lakes onsite and caught lots of fish. Cabin was extremely well maintained with beautiful architecture throughout and nice stone showers. Fireplace was perfect for chilly evenings. Would highly recommend, and hope to come back for an anniversary."

"Attention to detail is name of the game. From the 50s style decor to the beverage "tickets" that were branded poker chips complete with a qr code. This hotel hot it right. Fresh drinking water on a glass decanter greeted me at the room door. I recieved my access code that doubles as check in code when I was in route. There was even hand made hand soap in the lavatory. The beds had comfortable duvets, plentiful pillows and a nice warm throw. There even ear plugs so you could truly block out the world. The restaraunt was top notch. And the bar well stocked. Overall an excellent visit."

"Checked in at 4pm and found the place was not clean. We called and it was instantly taken care of we were put into another place in minutes. The customer service was excellent and there was no inconvenience. The stay was great and we loved the place. Thank you for a great weekend."
