"Great location for a relaxing vacation. The staff were accommodating and made our stay extremely comfortable. The beach and restaurants are all top tier. Recommend if you are interested in relaxing on the beach, or going on excursions in the Chania area."

"Just back from a fabulous holiday at Marianna. Highly recommend. The villa was perfect and just as described with everything we needed and some lovely touches to welcome us on arrival - bunch of flowers, home-made cake and local olive oil! We were met on arrival, shown around, and given a very warm welcome indeed. George kept in touch throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Orchard was amazing! The villa was spotlessly clean, and cleaned 3 times during our stay with fresh linen and towels. The pool was brilliant, with some inflatables left by previous guests. Plenty of areas for much needed shade while the sun beds were comfy. Views of the mountains were stunning as was the evening sunset from one of the many balconies. Air con in each room was a godsend! Just the one local power cut during our 2 weeks which only lasted a few hours and George’s Son and Dad were soon on the case with, and kept us informed. Only a 15 mins walk into nearby Vryses village with 2 main restaurants, a beautiful bakery, and a few small supermarkets…and a much-frequented ice cream parlour! Our hire car was definitely needed (I’d say essential really) to venture further afield (highly recommend Georgiopolis for beach, shopping and restaurants for meals) plus larger supermarkets and the water park near Chania. We caught the bus from Vryses to Chania and Rethymnon a few times (buy tickets from the helpful man in the ‘bus station’ cafe on the main street!). Perfect villa for our 2 families x"
Villa Faye -Vacation villa with panoramic views in Crete, Greece

"This is an absolute gem of a villa. We are a family of six, stayed for ten days and enjoyed every minute. The villa is beautiful and has been restored very thoughtfully by its owners, with lots of space for everyone to do their own thing if wanted. The pool was lovely, a great temperature and the perfect depth for lots of pool games! A highlight for me was morning coffee (from the fancy coffee maker!) or evening wine on the top terrace, which gives amazing views of the surrounding countryside and mountains - so relaxing. It was very hot whilst we were there but every room except the top lounge is air conditioned so there was always respite from the heat. On arrival we discovered the air conditioning was broken in our bedroom, we contacted the owner (who was lovely) and by the next afternoon we had a brand new unit installed - incredible service. The villa is within walking distance to Vrysses which is a great little town with lots of bars and restaurants and a couple of little supermarkets which have all the basics you need. We have stayed in a lot of villas over the years but we all agreed Villa Faye easily made the top three for us all and we would not hesitate to stay there again. A perfect holiday - thank you!"

"We spent 11 wonderful days at this villa in Crete, and everything was absolutely perfect. The welcome was exceptional. Since I had mentioned that we would be arriving late and probably would not have eaten, our host had kindly prepared some food for us, as well as eggs and other items for breakfast the next morning. This thoughtful gesture allowed us to start our stay peacefully without having to go grocery shopping first thing in the morning. Our host was incredibly attentive. She regularly checked in on us, shared great tips and recommendations, and did everything she could to make sure we had the best possible stay. The house is beautiful, very comfortable to live in, and perfectly maintained. The swimming pool is also fantastic. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the linen smelled lovely. The location was ideal for us, close to beautiful places and lovely beaches, while still allowing us to enjoy the peace and quiet of the villa. We truly have nothing negative to say. It was an excellent stay in a beautiful, clean, and comfortable house, with a wonderful and caring host. We highly recommend this villa!"

"A lovely villa with all the ameneties you could wish for. The garden is perfect for sitting in the sun or shade, with a great pool to cool down in. The villa is set back from the road through the village so is very peaceful. Politini is a wonderful host and made sure everything ran smoothly. And if you are wondering what the birds are that you can hear but not see in the orchard next door, a bird spotting app says they are peacocks."

"This beautiful villa is a hidden gem. The little village is so gorgeous. The drive up through the olive orchard is stunning. We never tired of the view. The restaurant that it attached to the villa is literally at the front door. The food is amazing. Though breakfast is not available, it's a short drive to a nearby town that has several other dining options. The pool is small but private. We would definitely stay here again. "
