"Amazing hotel, especially if you plan to rent a car! The bed is comfortable, the spa is amazing, and the food was great. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again."
"All the staff were super helpful and nice, enjoyed their free shuttle to Chania, well situated and quiet. Would highly recommend staying here, Maria at front desk is amazing!"
"This property is gorgeous and off the beaten track along a winding mountain road in a village with approx 25 inhabitants-so very good for an escape. Made up of traditional villas with comfy beds and shared pool. Easily drivable to beaches in abt 30 mins"
"Really lovely villas and large pools. Could do with slightly more foliage in between villa terraces for added privacy and the cleaner should sweep when changing towels etc..other than that the owners were extremely friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. Definitely need to rent a car. "
"It was an amazing stay. We checked in late, after midnight, and check in was smooth. The rooms are beautiful and we got balcony at the first floor. The sea view was good.
Communication with the owner was very good and he was there on call as and when required.
There is restaurant near the beach and for the hotel guests, one umbrella and two chairs were free. this was an excellant perk.
Parking can be done between hotel and restaurant and there is enough parking so no worries.
Cleaning was done...
"Rooftop bar/pool area used for breakfast is a real delight with views of the sea and mountains.
The food was exceptional and the dinner buffet very good value head and shoulders above most we have experienced in terms of quality and choice.
Very unusual for holiday hotels is the quality of the bedrooms and especially the bed.
Excellent in all respects apart from the MUZAK which is played morning noon and night and spoils the wonderful rooftop breakfast experience totally.

"The hotel is a perfect choice for a relaxing holiday. Quite and beautiful clean beach. The staff is very kind and friendly. We recommend it and would definitely come back! Thanks for an unforgettable stay."
"Lovely clean, spacious studios equipped with all you need for a self catering stay. The owner, his wife and son were most welcoming and friendly and always had a cheerful greeting for us. Very convenient for both the beach and the village, both within a few minutes walk. There were a couple of supermarkets close by for breakfast provisions etc and a superb bar just around the corner. Would definitely recommend this property for for a wonderful stay in Georgiopolis."
"Wonderful apartment in a beautiful setting. Excellent pool and a lovely restaurant providing amazing food with spectacular views. Friendly hosts that provided a warm welcome. "

Why not spend a lazy afternoon at Koutalas Beach during your trip to Apokoronas? Wander the sandy beaches or discover the countryside in this relaxing area.
Traditional villages with stone houses dot the hills of Apokoronas, where local tavernas serve Cretan specialities beneath ancient plane trees. Hike through olive groves to discover Byzantine churches, then cool off at nearby Kalyves Beach with its clear waters and family-run seafood restaurants.
"We had such a lovely stay at Blue Elephant in Almyrida! The location is peaceful and quiet, about 45–50 minutes from Chania (CHQ) airport, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
The absolute highlight was the staff – they were genuinely some of the friendliest and most helpful we’ve ever met. Communication before, during, and even after our stay was excellent, and they always made us feel so welcome.
The hotel itself is very clean and calm, best suited for couples or adults. My partner loved relaxing by the pool, while I made use of the small gym (don’t expect heavy weights, but it’s great for a hotel gym).
Breakfast was really good, with enough variety even for us as vegetarians/vegans. The only small thing that could be improved would be having a few more veggie/vegan options on the lunch menu, but with so many restaurants in town, it wasn’t a problem. They don’t do dinner, but again, the local options were fantastic.
Overall, it’s perfect for a 5–6 day relaxing holiday. We will definitely be coming back in the future and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break in Crete."
"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Très bonne situation géographique. Seul bémol la piscine qui ferme à 18 h c est trop tôt et si vous pouviez décaler à plus tard le dîner ce serait mieux pour profiter.
Je recommande cet hôtel "
"Modern premises and tasteful décor. Our room was super comfortable and controls are hi tech, from curtains, to lights. The beach is excellent for swimming and walking, and the view of the mountains is breathtaking. We had a blast in this hotel. I want to come back for a longer stay."
"The hotel is perfect for a beachy, chilled holiday if that’s what you enjoy. The small town has some shops etc which is good and Chania is only a 30 minute drive away along with Souda which are beautiful towns.
Especially the Chania markets! A must go to if you love a bargain!
The hotel could be somewhat more clear on what is included etc. The hotel is amazing so don’t let that put you off but we were told the tourist charge was €10 euro per room, per night, which is correct but we were also charged extra and we’re unsure really what that was for.
Also we have been twice to this hotel, the first time when booking we had the option available to go all inclusive plus but the second time that option wasn’t available until we arrived at the hotel and it was quite steep compared to the first time we visited the hotel and with not much difference to the basic all inclusive package. After all a gin and tonic is a gin and tonic be that from the local gin or branded big name gin.
Overall though, lovely place to stay and the staff are amazing! So helpful and super polite! Will absolutely be back again! "
