"Fabulous restaurant with guest rooms in Ludlow. Off the beaten track and close to the castle. Bucolic scenes of cows in the field across the road, and we even had a pheasant visit us. The food at breakfast and dinner was superb. It was fresh and tasted delicious."

Ludlow Mascall Centre - Hostel

"The room was basic but clean and functional for a short stay. It had everything we needed and good for the price. We had a twin room and one of the beds was hard and felt like an old budget mattress whilst the other bed had a comfy spring mattress. Good selection of tea and coffee. Check-in times were quite restrictive and made us plan our day around a set check-in time. It's very close to the centre and within easy walking distance. The room was hot at night but the fan somewhat helped. Overall a pleasant stay for a budget room."

"Fab location and great pub/ restaurant on site. Lovely hot tub. Just could have done with superior quality fan to cool the lodge - was a lot hotter inside than it was outside."
