"The mixture of modern and old within this building and the decor has been so well done; bringing both chracter and comfort. There is so much to do within the surrounding area, such as Ludlow Castle, Church, Museum, nature walks and an abundance of shops and nice restaurants and all within walking distance of the hotel. The staff are friendly, helpful and approachable. We will be staying here again! Thank you for a lovelt stay."

"Great place to stay, room was comfortable and clean and the shower was amazing. The best part was the restaurant though, it is worth coming here just for the venison pie alone! Genuinely the best pie I’ve ever had and the staff on that evening were incredibly friendly and professional. I spend 4 nights away a week for work and I will definitely be booking in here again!"

"What an amazing find in rural Herefordshire. We just needed a bed for the night, but got a whole lot more: a wonderful welcome from the barman who was aware of my disabled friend’s requirements, and nothing was too much trouble for him; a table reserved for dinner next to the accessible door; a lovely accessible bedroom with external step free access; spotlessly clean with relevant adaptations to the bathroom including a seat in the shower; tasty pub food served efficiently and with a smile, and to cap it all 4 different local Wye Valley real ales on tap served in this traditional pub full of friendly locals. We will definitely return!"
