"Historical hotel in the middle of old downtown Boston. Considering how expensive Boston is and our overall pleasurable experience during our stay, this hotel was an excellent value in hindsight. If you have a family I highly recommend getting the bigger room that has a desk and sofa — having room to spread out and lounge around helped keep our sanity. The standard room with two queen beds is very small and is difficult to maneuver around with multiple people and their belongings."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was crazy hot and they offered us bottles of water while we were waiting for our room to be available. We had a 2-bed studio in the adjacent building and a member of staff walked us over and made sure we knew how to use the code to access the building. Above and beyond. The beds were doubles - barely - and were pretty tight for two slightly larger adults. Shower was roomy and had great water pressure."
