"I only had 1-2 small nitpicks of my week-long stay! To begin, getting inside was easy and the staff were very nice to greet and give me information as needed. There are a few people who seem to be extended-stay residents. (I get it out here, in this economy) they all kept to themselves/weren’t really creepy or sloppy looking people. The rooms were very nice for the price point. Water heated quickly, the appliances were clean and worked well. NO BUGS. But an ever so slight hotel smell, if you will (maybe a moldy smell from the AC?). I had to keep the AC turned down a little extra in order to actually cool my room. The TV doesn’t have much channels at all—at least entertaining ones—but if you have your own device, it has hdmi connections. WiFi was a little slower unless you pay the 6.99 High speed package, but it works okay for the free. Room walls are kinda thin but neighbors were quiet for the most part. Only one night I heard some yelling and floor stomping above me. It was short lived though. PARKING was the one actual nitpick I have. 2/7 nights I had to do street parking right outside of the hotel because every spot was taken up. Didn’t like that when I actually paid to be staying there. Coffee was nice, but no breakfast. I was able to meet one of the staff members, he was a delight to chat with, and I wish I did chat with him again, but I did not take the time to do so. The 7-11 is right out front and that was very convenient for extended-stay or vacation. 5/5."

"Walking distance from Icon park. I love the location as well as the pool is really nice. They also have a free shuttle to get to the universal parks. "

"I had a great overall stay at Westgate Resort and Spa. The property itself was excellent—the facilities were well maintained, the restaurant was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. There was one hiccup involving tickets that were sold to us for Sea World and Aquatica, where an issue with ticket required us to return to the resort to have it sorted out. Unfortunately, that ended up taking most of our day, which was frustrating. Aside from that inconvenience, everything else about the experience was very positive. One thing to keep in mind for future guests: the timeshare presentation runs significantly longer than expected, so plan accordingly. Overall, despite the setback, we still had a very enjoyable stay."

"Staff were great. They accommodated later room cleans around baby’s nap schedule. "

"The hotel facilities are very nice and varied, with two swimming pools, a mini-golf course, a pool table, and a laundry area that accepts credit cards; everything is quite complete. The staff is very attentive. However, the room was dirty; the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. When they cleaned the room, they didn't change the towels or provide fresh water bottles. Even so, it was a good experience, and I recommend it for families with young children."
