"We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The surrounding area is stunning and the cottage was a great base to explore all of this. As it was our wedding anniversary I requested a nice room, and they listened. Just lovely, right beside the river. A very relaxing stay, no Covid worries, no crowds, I hope to return on our great big anniversary next year

We only stayed one night - I wish we could have spent longer here. We had a drink in the Boathole a fabulous relaxing dinner at The Kitchen, walked the walking path one the grounds and visited an old cemetery and megalithic stone site. You can fly fish, shoot clay pigeons, do archery or falconry. Very classy and beautiful place. Definitely worth the money to stay here you won't be disappointed. The staff and very kind and classy.

The receptionist that checked me in and out was very friendly. She also upgraded me, which made my day. Mind you its my first time being upgraded. The room was lovely and spotless.
That you!!

I recently had a 2 night stay over Christmas in Castle Dargan and am more than happy with hotel and the service we received. The food was good with plenty of variety in the restaurant and the room was large and very comfortable. The hotel is located in rural Sligo but ideally situated near Lough Gill where there is a lovely drive along with plenty of forest walks enroute and also a short drive to Sligo town. I didn't use the spa so cannot comment on that but there certainly was plenty to offer...
