We had a great time at the Lismar, everyone was very friendly and made us very welcome This is a lovely Guest House I would reccommend it very clean and a beautiful Breakfast and very reasonably price

Not impressed

My arrival was intresting as key in door didnt work young girl managed to eventually get keycard to work . I wentvout for food came back and again key didnt work . No one in reception rang the mobile number on the door 4 times and no reply. I ended up sitting in my car for hour then frontroom of house for 20 minutes before girl came back to get room open again . So had to stay in room all night for fear door would not open again . Then at 1245am there was a roaring session with young lads shouting and stomping around place . Eventually tot back to sleep at aprox 330.

In die Jahre gekommenen Unterkunft und zu teuer für das, was geboten wird. Die Fenster sind nicht dicht, Gardinen sind dreckig und der Teppichboden bedarf einer Reinigung, ebenso die Ecken und Winkel in den Räumen. Frühstück war gut. Betten in Ordnung, Personal (eine einzelne Mitarbeiter) ist nett aber für alle anfallenden Aufgaben (Service und Housekeeping) völlig überlastet und müde. Fazit: es könnte netter sein, wäre ein entsprechendes fürsorgliches Management vorhanden. Die Gastfreundschaft fehlt.

It was very clean. Breakfast was very good. There was a large tv with netflix access, a mini fridge, and a nice bathroom. The mattresses seemed sunken but the room was very spacious and quiet.

Only ok

On arrival the lady upon checkin didnt have any customer service skills or was she very friendly. Room was ok, a bit outdated but clean and comfortable, a good night sleep. the bathroom clean, breakfast was ok, a good selection of cereal to choose from, there is also option to have a full irish breakfast. This guest house done us for a 1 night stay but personal i would not stay any longer.

kurze Nacht mit Feueralarm

Bei der Ankunft war niemand da, so dass wir erst einmal etwas trinken gehen mussten. Das Zimmer war etwas abgewohnt, aber soweit ok, alles vorhanden: Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Bad, TV, Internet. Die Besitzerin kassierte gleich in bar. Am Morgen ging vor 7h der Feueralarm los, er konnte vor 8 Uhr nicht gelöscht und keiner der Gäste konnte jemanden der Besitzer erreichen. Als diese kurz vor 8h endlich eintrafen, gab es nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung... Frühstück (von junger Angestellter zubereitet) war gut, Parkplatz "gewöhnungsbedürftig".

The woman who greeted us upon arrival was very brusque, bordering on rude. The room was nice enough, but stifling hot-it was on the top floor with only a door to a shared fire escape for air-not terribly secure to leave open overnight. The shower had a habit of turning itself on and off in the middle of a shower. The room and bathroom were lovely and clean, and breakfast was quite nice. The woman who served breakfast was pleasant. Overall, I suppose we would stay again but not in the same room, and perhaps hope for a more friendly reception. I genuinely felt that we were inconveniencing the hosts by checking in to their b and b.

Friendly welcome when we arrived. As there was only on street parking the owner opened the back yard and allowed me to park my bike behind a locked door. The room was very comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was extremely good. All in all a lovely stop over in Dundalk...

The location is excellent. We walked just down the street to the Windsor Bar and had an excellent meal and a pint. The town is very walkable with many restaurants and pubs in the area. I would highly recommend based on the location.

Cuidado con la publicidad engañosa.

Cuidado que te engañan con una publicidad engañosa. El estado de limpieza pésimo con moqueta llena de polvo y decolorada por el mal estado y la suciedad. Las paredes laterales y el techo con zonas mohosas. Ventanas polvorientas y fachada en mal estado... El entorno deja mucho que desear. Fui con mi familia, mi mujer y los dos niños, con la intención de pasar una noche, y al ver el estado de la habitación decidimos que era imposible quedarse en aquellas condiciones. Actualmente estoy intentando recuperar el dinero con la mediación del portal. Ya les contaré como acaba la historia. Pero el mal trago no hay quien se lo quite a mi familia. Espero que mi mala experiencia le abra los ojos a quien como yo no pueda detectar la publicidad engañosa mediante fotos...
