"The room was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was within walking distance from most locations in midtown and to Grand Central for easy access to the rest of the city."

"It’s a tired old hotel that seems to be falling apart at the seams. Elevators were stalling, bathrooms were shabby, drains were slow. And the fact that Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio stayed there 75-ish years ago does little to make up for the reality that it has not been properly maintained through the years. It does have location going for it."

"Rooms were not clean. Dusty floors, showers and fixtures like lamps and table ( I had a suite) . The couch in the suite was horrible. The shower was broken so I had to rig it to use it. They don’t have smart tvs! That is a must in 2026. For the money I expected better with cleanliness. Otherwise everything else was standard nothing exceptional "
