We stayed here for a night. It was a good getaway from the city. The property is older but well maintained. Wonderful staff and super easy. There is also a bar on the ground floor which was helpful.

The room was a good size, clean warm and comfortable. Everything worked and was in a good condition. Quiet considering I was above the bar and opposite the Theatre. Located a stones throw from the seafront in the cultural end of town.

Basic but clean. Shower rail was broken, took a long time to get mixer shower temperature correct and water flow not very good. Beds clean and comfortable. Our room on 4th floor but there is a lift. Unexpected fees for dog (£10) - not sure why as there were no special amenities for dog. Also parking- thought this was included as I had searched for pet friendly and parking. Walkable to beach and some nice restaurants nearby.

We booked a twin room for one night for me and my daughter. Excellent location near the sea front. Plenty of parking outside and nearby. The room is basic which is reflected in the price but exceptionally clean and comfortable with an updated bathroom. Tea and coffee provided. Linen and towels clean and soft. Check in / out easy and staff were very polite and helpful. I would definately stay hear again.
Not very clean, the staff were no where to be seen on the day after we arrived and the bar was not open even though it was advertised and not stated that it was closed before we arrived and when we asked why the receptionist didn't know why so it was quite a let down really

Needs updating…
Reasonably priced, clean outdated hotel/B&B. The young lady who seemed to be managing the property, was pleasant and very helpful.

Should have breakfast for those travelling,Help people with heavy luggage.
Good choice for the price range. We booked a double room for one night in April for 41 GBP.
The check in was smooth and reception staff was friendly. Bed was comfy and the hot shower after the 14 km seven sisters hike was a relief.
Negative points:
The room is a bit small (which we didn’t really mind as we only used it to sleep overnight). The walls seem to be a bit thin as you can hear the feet passing through the corridor.
THEY DON'T ACCEPT YOUR BAGGAGE before you check in (if you need to drop them before you go for the hike)

Faded
Needs upgrading furnishing ,flooring ,,window covering, plumbing, still had shower curtains
The lift was tiny, claustrophobic.
Breakfast limited, coffee not good.
The two staff I met were pleasant
Wouldn't stay there again
First - the reception door was looked with a number to call, which was down in the cafe.
Second - I paid upfront on booked and they had a problem with payment which caused a delay in checking in.
Third - the sofa and furniture in the room was heavily stained, with what I don’t want to think.
This was classed as a 3 star hotel, at best 1 star.
Unfortunately I want stay there on my next visit to Eastbourne.

No parking was a little annoying as the listing stated there was some limited spaces. The gentleman on reception was friendly but think its a bit much to charge so much just for 1 hour earlier checkin. Especially when you have children. The toilet in the room was not very clean. Looked like it wasnt flushed. Generally didnt feel super clean but sheets seemed clean and we were there for one night so we managed.
