"This was an old school motel- modernized without messing with the integrity of the style and beautifully maintained. No modern type amenities per se, but they did have a fridge, air, and if you needed, ice or water- the staff gave it to you. They also brought coffee if you asked! Parking on the premises and free. Plenty of restaurants up and down Main St including a coffee/bakery on the premises . The best part was it was 2 short blocks to the beach!!! Worth every penny! We walked everywhere!"

"it was a pretty place and clean! staff was great , one drawback is the parking. i understand it’s LA but you have to park your car overnight and it says $68 on the banner when you pull up. luckily we only had to stay one night but when we checked out they told us we had to pay $105! we were confused and they said it was for parking. it felt deceiving and we shared that with the manager who checked us out but he kept being a smart ass about how there’s “taxes everywhere in LA” but whatever we still payed it but i feel they should be more upfront about the cost. so many resort fees that just add up. other than that it’s pretty and clean and if u don’t care about expenses for parking then it’s perfect."

"Loved my stay at the regent. Felt like a seamless resort stay. I enjoyed the location, staff, room, and restaurant. The house car was a nice touch! One thing I wish was in the room: snacks! Either complimentary or for purchase! My stay was fantastic from the moment I stepped foot on the property, only good things to say about this hotel. Shoutout to Christian who greeted us and checked in with how our stay is. The spa was also AMAZING! Very clean, modern and has every amenity you need. Will be back!"

"The toilet was leaking brown water, and staff members accused me of snooping. The beach chairs and equipment were old. Additionally, someone entered the room and took my new sweatpants and phone charger."

"The breakfast was great! In room hot tub was awesome. Staff was extremely friendly. $90 per night Valet was pretty expensive for a a guest that's already spending a lot of money to stay there. Be prepared that it is a very noisy hotel it's not quiet anywhere in or out of your room. Enjoy the beach!!"

"Room was spotless but the fridge leaked and rattled all night long. Place was quiet with easy parking and hot shower. Toilet unsteady and moved when flushed. Room small and didn’t have tea or coffee making facilities. A good half hour walk to beach."
