"We enjoyed our 7 night stay at Point A Hotel Edinburgh Haymarket. The hotel is budget friendly and in an excellent location. A quick 15 minute walk and you are in the heart of Edinburgh. If you don’t feel like walking, there is a bus stop less than a minute from the hotel. A five minute walk and you have access to the tram and the Haymarket train station. The tram will get you to and from the airport with ease.The train was perfect for day trips planned during our stay. There are also plenty of dining options in the area. Our room was fantastic. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff are lovely and make you feel welcome. Special shout out to Jamie."

"This was our first trip to Scotland and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice with the Virgin Hotel. From the moment we checked in with Connor handling our luggage, to every concierge helping us navigate the city; the service/experience was incredible. This was also our first stay at a Virgin Hotel and it will not be our last. We are doing more international travel in the future and Virgin Hotels will be our first choice. "

"Good location - nice bar and good amenities. We didn’t use them but we looked at the pool and gym - both were great. Nice Bar and excellent breakfast. Kind of pricey for breakfast but worth it if you like to start the day with a meal. "

"Comfortable stay and a good view from the castle facing room. The room had no AC cooling as it is rare for the city temperature to go up like it did this June. The hotel does provide a table fan and it does cool off after 8 pm Overall a good stay with a good variety in breakfast"

"Great hotel, but uber to the city center to meeting points for tours and such was roughly 30 pounds each way. So 60 pounds daily. It’s about 8 miles but takes 30-45 min depends on traffic. "

"Best location. Smack bang in the middle of old town. Lovely staff. Great service all around. Clean bathrooms and toilets. Showers working perfectly. They have free activities at the reception, great way to meet people. Spacious and comfortable pods. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at."
