  • Located on the ground floor (but with steps), the Restalrig Apartment, with free Wifi and free on-street parking, welcomes two guests maximum.

    The one-bedroom apartment features a fully equipped kitchen with a two-seater breakfast table, while a dining table and chairs can be found in the living room.

    The apartment is located in a residential building, so late check-ins are not possible - 2200hrs being the latest.

    This is not a party flat. CCTV protected (cameras located externally obviously!).

    Maximum number of guests: Two (2) for licencing, fire & insurance reasons. Extra guests are strictly forbidden and the booking will be cancelled.

Our host, Susan, was on top of our stay. Communication was excellent and she had our apartment clean, neat and just about every amenity you could think of. Access to Edinburgh by bus was quick and convenient with multiple bus routes going right by our door.

Susan is an exceptional host, prompt answers when needed, clear communication, and lovely to deal with. There are instructions for everything with labels making it super easy, the apartment is gorgeous, and the location is fantastic - close enough to the tourist areas, but far enough where it’s quiet and residential when you come back for the night. If/when I come back to Scotland, I would 1000% book here again for location, amenities, and the host

We had an excellent stay at Susan’s apartment. Location was great - so close to city centre, it was perfectly clean, so well equipped including high quality kitchen utensils etc, very quiet, excellent info on everything including cheaper bus travel, and Susan answered any queries within minutes. Highest recommendation if staying in Edinburgh!

This was an amazing stay! The hospitality and the communication was fantastic. The place is near a bus stop so we did not have to navigate driving in Edinburgh. There’s a store across the street. It was quiet. And beautiful. But most of all the host was incredible!

Lovely place, great location

Lovely flat hosted by a very nice lady who kept us well informed. Nice and clean with plenty of space for the two of us. Situated a quick 10 minute bus journey into the centre of Edinburgh and opposite a well stocked Co-op.

Comfortable, well furnished apartment

We much enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The living room and bedroom were well furnished, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bathroom was clean and fully functional. The neighborhood was quiet and within walking distance of the downtown and Leith. We would definitely stay again.

Stunning little home from home

This is a lovely little apartment in a fabulous location, just outside the city, but not far from everything. Susan was super attentive to everything a guest may need, and there were little touches that made the stay extra enjoyable. I look forward to returning to Edinburgh and staying here again.

What a wonderful stay

Susan was more than helpful throughout the entire booking process and was great with communication. The apartment was very well catered and had thoughtful touches of home which were much appreciated as young travellers. The location was super convenient for getting in and out of the city. Edinburgh stay

This apartment was beautifully clean, exceptionally well equipped and has a very comfortable bed with lovely cotton bed linen. The host responded immediately to any questions and was also friendly and personable. The location is great and there is free street parking which is fantastic in Edinburgh.
