The property is in an excellent location. The buildings are very close together, so there is privacy which means that you have to keep the blinds shut. The rooms are a good size.
Beautiful new apartment. I highly recommend this to anyone who is staying near the university of Edinburg. I have even recommended it to some of my family members who will be traveling there later this year.
Close to Edinburgh University. Contemporary, with excellent access to the local cafe.

Location is better than room condition
The location is good, however the customer service was disappointing. The room’s condition was not as good as expected. The so-called free toiletries and towels were not provided enough during the 4-day stay.
1) Check out too early @10am which is impossible, usually the hotels and other apartments check out will be @12pm
2) Check in @3pm with is too late (possible if it is 2 pm)
3) should have storage room in the same building no far as we see the office is far so we need taxi many taxi .
4) if we need even 1 hour late to check out it cost 10£ why? Even in the 5 star hotels the staff is flexible with us, friendly and accept that happily.
** These points are very important for us as a visitor we need to be happy, so take these points seriously.
So, because of these points I cannot recommend it for my friends.
Perfect spot for being in the centre of Edinburgh. We stayed for four days. Modern, clean apartment. Well equipped so if we wanted to eat in we could do so easily. Prior kitchen, washer dryer, WIFI. Everything worked. Staff at My-Appartments very efficient and helpful.

No hot water for 27 hours, spanning two mornings
Not having hot water for two mornings in a row strongly colors my experience. All communication about this was initiated by me, and the property managers didn't give any indication that they felt this was a serious problem. It was eventually fixed because the hot water supply is central to more than one block of apartments, some of which are managed by other organizations. I dread to think how things would have been if it had been my apartment alone. Absent this problem, I would probably not have been too bothered by having to reboot the wifi router as soon as I tried to use it and finding no microwave though one is listed as among the amenities. But it all adds up to an annoying experience.
I travelled alone for my first trip to Edinburgh. This apartment is situated perfectly. The only slight inconvenience is picking up the key at a different location. No problem really but the check in is as advertised - but lots of things to look at while waiting and luggage storage iis available: just sometimes a person is tired from travel- The aoartment is beautuful - new and updated, huge -. More like self catering / no room service but fully outfitted.I could not figure out the washing machine too well but that could be me! Walk everywhere on the golden mike as apartment is 1/2 way down between castle and palace. Walk through the path way right at the Grocery store.- Stainbury. Take a warm sweater and coat- remember - cold Scottish wind even in June.
This was my third stay at My-Quartermile Apartments. Located in the University area, I've timed it at a seven-minute walk to the Royal Mile (passing Greyfriars Kirk and the National Museum of Scotland). While close to tourist attractions, it offers a welcome calm from the sometimes frenetic Royal Mile. On two previous visits, I stayed in a one-bedroom apartment overlooking The Meadows, which I loved. This time, we reserved a gorgeous two-bedroom apartment. Upon check-in, we were surprised and thrilled to be upgraded to a penthouse apartment. In my experience, these apartments are typically modern and spotless, with fully-equipped kitchens and washing machines. But this, in addition, had an enormously spacious great room overlooking the Meadows on one side, with the other glass wall leading to an enclosed sun room with three exterior glass walls and two doors leading out to the gorgeous rooftop garden with a view of Arthur's Seat. The master bedroom had a wall of windows with a view of Edinburgh Castle. There's an en suite master bath, and a second bathroom off the hallway that has a TV in the shower. The staff are always warm and delightful to work with. We wanted for nothing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
These modern apartments are in a great location for walking anywhere around the city centre. Fridge, stove, micro, dishwasher, and washer/dryer all included. The only drawback is the floor to ceiling windows that especially in the bedroom you need to keep the blinds down. Even up draw blinds would not be great as there are 7 floors so folks above you can see in.

Check in and check out times where the only issue. Paid for 2 nights but couldn't check in till after 3 and check out time was 10 in the morning. There is an option to stay up to 12 at £10 an hour but after spending £155 for the 2 nights I feel its a bit cheeky. Apart from that the apartment was nice.
Staff were friendly at the office. Apartment was clean, good amenities provided. Short walk into city centre. Supermarket and coffee shops on your door step. Would definitely stay here again!
Very Nice Modern flat. Great location with small grocery, coffee shop, bakery & wine bar close by. Next to the meadows. Walking distance to The Royal Mile & New Town. Registration & Key pick up is at a different location but was also an easy walk.

Great location, room not as pictured
Overall we had a decent stay. Based on the pictures and price we were expecting a little more. Our unit was located in an apartment building in a very student populated area. Our apartment did not have a view of the park as is pictured in most of the photos provided by the hotel. The unit is not as new as is pictured, there was quiet a few scuffs on the walls and some mold in the shower. When we checked in the unit smelled of onions. We contacted the front desk and they were very accommodating and sent someone over right away to clean the kitchen sink which resolved the issue. With all this being said, our stay was still enjoyable. The unit was very spacious and was in reasonable condition. The unit was walking distance to many attractions, e.g. Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, National Museum of Scotland.
Booked 6 months in advance based on location and a format which suited the needs of my family. Received emails on the day concerned that I wouldn't make it to the office to collect the key before everyone went home on Friday. My girlfriend got there to be informed that the apartment wasn't available due to a gas boiler problem. Offered a refund which wasn't practical given the demand during the festival and we'd already flown and travelled into Edinburgh. Re-housed at an older apartment about 1 mile further away. Replacement was tired with signs of wear in all rooms. Window didn't open, TV didn't work properly, leather chair cracked, sofa cover split etc. Did the job though, albeit with a longer walk to the shows we'd booked near to our intended accommodation. The promised partial refund had to be chased 1 month later.
Fin leilighet, rolig område, med kort vei til restauranter og Royal Mile etc. Litt hard seng. Hadde vært nyttig med noen bruksanvisninger for fasilitetene (for ikke-britiske gjester).
fantastic apartment, well equipped, spotless and plenty of room. Bathroom was lovely, big towels, toiletries, hairdryer etc. Kitchen was well equipped and also had washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, tea towel etc. Sainsburys at the end of the road, and a lovely café.
Some instructions for the dishwasher, oven and TV/freeview would have helped - that took a while to work out.
But highly recommended.
The best place you can stay in Edinburgh. Well equipped kitchen, rooms with stunning sunrise view, nice furnitures and a comfy bed, basement parking lot, and walking distances to everything. That includes everything made a perfect stay.
Nice experience in a pleasant location. Key collection was elsewhere but the staff were friendly and accommodating. Would recommend it and use it again
I found this apartment, in Simpson Loan on the edge of the Meadows, to be very comfortable as a solo traveller. It was clean and the kitchen was ready to go with thoughtful basics such as tea, fresh milk (hurray!) and oil. Towels and linen were good quality. There was plenty of storage space. Also there was shower product supplied in the bathroom. This all makes a big difference when travelling for work and I really appreciated it.
The bed was very comfortable for a solo adult and I slept very well. I would need a larger bed if I were travelling as part of a couple.
There was lots of natural daylight and I found it easy to work and sleep here - the two things I had hoped for.
Check in was friendly and informative.
