The Gables is very comfortable and in a great location in Bathgate. Very clean room with Wi-Fi. The Gables is very close to the train station and trains run to Edinburgh frequently. Included is a wonderful breakfast and many thanks for your hospitality.

Great place to stay if visiting Edinburgh. House very traditional and clean. The owners were incredibly helpful and kind, always checking to make sure you’re ok. Beds super comfy, immaculate clean bedding, had a great two nights sleep. Really busy road outside but you cannot hear a thing inside once the windows are closed. So, so peaceful. Parking outside the house also was great. We will 100% be returning. A fab restaurant around the corner too. All in all 5* for sure.

Lovely place to stay! Mary and Donald are excellent hosts and cook a superb breakfast. The house is clean, quite beautiful, and historic. It's about a 10 minute walk from plenty of shops and restaurants. Would happily stay at the Gables again.
