"Everything about the stay was Amazing! The vibe! The people! The energy! All of the staff were just great and always made us feel welcomed. Door man Alex made a HUGE impression on my group he was our Out of Town Uncle with nothing but love and care at what he does! If you need anything you let him know, he will point you in the right direction! The Bartenders and Front desk were amazing as well! The area is perfect with enough food choices and bars etc. Subway stations are 1-2 blocks walking distance. The rooftop at this hotel is BEAUTIFUL! We got to catch 2 sunsets and all I can say is WOW!"
"I had a fantastic experience with Public. Air Canada went on strike and only a few us arrived. We booked a suite and they accommodated us to a smaller room and refunded us for the bigger one. Unfortunately the first night, there were a couple fighting the room right next to us. And we told the hotel, they upgraded us to a nicer room the next day and also compensated us for the night before. And I had to stay one extra night and they just let me stay in the same room for a basic room price. Overall the staff were so friendly and I really enjoyed my time there. 5 star! And I will come back again. The only thing is at the restaurant below. The restaurant wasn’t super clean, it had hair on the couches. It doesn’t seem like they do a through clean of the breakfast restaurant. "
"Love this place. Was exactly as described. Feels like a cross between a hostel with shared bathrooms and a pod hotel with the privacy. Was quiet overall compared to a hostel, but noisier than a fully self-contained pod hotel. The extra touches made it nicer than either. No real ceiling, more of a trellis. The cleaning staff was present, visible, friendly, and consistent. Great location. Hard to read sign out front until you’ve seen it once. Happy there is a women’s only floor. Thought I would be the oldest person there. Young crowd overall, but saw people in there 50s like me also. Would very happily stay there again. "
