"The buffet was a typical continental buffet. There were not fresh items on it and the staff was just OK. Parking was easy and it was super convenient in location to my son’s lacrosse tournament. The beds were comfortable."

"My bigger concern is that our hosts were happy with us!!This was such a perfect situation, location, and accommodation, that my husband and I would like to be able to reserve this same space again and again and again.Our hosts were delightful, responsive, and more.The apartment is easy to find and fully equipped.Security is great and access was immediate.Yes... I would highly recommend Tranquility Base to anyone traveling to Carbondale."

"We stayed here due to a Lacrosse tournament being nearby, which is why I imagine most guests were there this weekend as well. We were charged over $200 a night and this property is so tired and gross. The rooms were dirty, bathroom was filthy and hadn't been deep cleaned or really cleaned in a long time. Mold growing in the shower and we had several spider bites along with finding a spider in the shower. The air conditioner sputtered in and out of working, sheets did not fit on the bed and kept coming off, floor was filthy. I would not recommend, even for the convenience of being close to the venue. "

"This is a lovely place- fantastic location, very clean. Check in was a breeze. I did not realize it was garden level- maybe I did not read carefully but it is a very bright and modern space it didn’t matter."
