Ich hatte leider andere Vorstellungen einer Jugendherberge und war von dem Komfort dieses "Hostels" ziemlich erschlagen. Als bescheidene Tourenradfahrerin und langjährigem DJH-Mitglied hätte mir ein wesentlich einfacheres Zimmer zu einem niedrigerem Preis besser gestanden... Nun ja, ich habe den Komfort genossen, frage mich nur wo das hinführen soll und ob das noch dem Auftrag einer DJH gerecht wird. Aber da habe ich wohl auch beim Buchen nicht so genau hingeguckt... Bei einer Jugendherberge hat man alles was mann/frau braucht: sie liegt i.d.R. immer inder Nähe des Veranstaltungsortes, ist preisgünstig und bietet alle Inhalte für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Lediglich das kein WLAN für Tagesgäste zur Verfügung stand, schmälert die Vorzüge des Hauses.

très mauvais souvenir chambre dégueulasse le lit n'est même pas fait des petits draps, même le coussin il n'est pas mis dans son oreiller la douche dégueulasse j'ai payé la chambre très cher et pour finir c'était une chambre à 4 personnes il y a des gens qui sont venus qui ont dormi dans la même chambre ils renfles j'étais dégoûté je le ferai plus jamais même pas de serviette!!!! Hostel in Dusseldorf

I didn't realize I was booking a hostel so was a bit skeptical when we arrived as I had never stayed in one before. We were a group of 4 women and they put us in a room with four bunk beds. I was very pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the hostel which was about 12 miles from the Dusseldorf airport. The staff was very nice and helpful. The beds were fine but the mattresses were a bit thin although comfortable. I thought the price was very fair.

Tolle neue Jugendherberge

Sehr nette nagelneue Jugendherberge mit großen Parkplatz direkt am Fußballstadion. Wer auf Jugendherbergen steht ist hier definitiv richtig.

Wir haben nicht die gebuchten Zimmer um den Preis wie von Expedia angegeben erhalten. Stattdessen müsste z.Bsp statt 71,65€ satte 98,35€ für die Übernachtung von 2 Personen bezahlt werden. Desweiteren mussten 4 Einzelpersonen im Vierbettzimmer übernachten um dem Preis von 38,99€ zu erhalten und nicht wie gebucht eine Person. Mein Hinweis, dass ich insgesamt. 8 Zimmer gebucht habe und dies so auch von Expedia bestätigt wurde, würde komplett von der Rezeption ignoriert. Wenn die Zimmer nicht so bereitgestellt werden können, wäre meine Erwartung gewesen, dass diese so nicht buchbar sind. Ich bitte um eine Erklärung dafür. Vor allem, weil ich meine Mitreisenden eine Erklärung schuldig bin. Vielen Dank

Jugendherberge heißt Jugend und wer damit kein Problem hat ist dort gut aufgehoben. Frühstück war OK, wobei ich bei dem Wort Jugendherberge auf mehr gesunde Lebensmittel gehofft hatte.
