"Nice coffee makers in the room we're a great touch. Lovely balcony looking out to sea. Great kibene and towels. Property will be renovated next year."
"Room was top of hotel overlooking a crumbling slated roof but it was the cheapest option and loud seagulls every morning sitting on the roof.
The room was adaquate but bathroom only had tiled floor so shower went everywhere.
Staff were good and polite and helpful, breakfast was fine and hot but also minimal varied selection.
Parking was atrocious, with only 6 spaces ? at £10 per night because street parking was normally nose to tail, and full for 24 hours. Because I have a blue badge I parked on the double yellow lines one night and found a space 10 cars down the other ones. Close to front with a zig zag path down to beach from hotel front door basically. Fine for the money apart from parking problems."
"Charming and quaint old-fashioned style about it. Beautifully tended gardens with croquet and other lawn games available. Room very spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Lift to all floors. On first floor (where we stayed) the fire doors were very narrow and stiff so wheelchair access would be difficult but doors to rooms were okay. Heated outdoor pool in a secluded area sheltered from the wind and pleasant to swim in. Easy access to the beach via security gate with 10 minute stroll. Close to many sites of interest and the town centre for eating. Garage with super EV charger less than 1 mile away from the hotel. Full English Breakfast was excellent and is worth booking the night before to keep the cost down. Would be happy to stay here again."
"Lovely stay, room spacious and had lovely view of the sea. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Only thing I would suggest is that the £13 for breakfast for the continental was a bit high especially for my dad as he only had a bowl of cereal, there was a good selection though. Maybe two separate prices as the full English was definitely worth the money."
