"Charming host who worked hard to meet all our needs, produced lovely breakfast and local advice. Just the right level of presence, not invasive, just always available when needed."
"First time staying. The main hotel is a character building, with rooms that are clean, and well proportioned. While they are a little dated, they are well maintained.
The staff are friendly, and our breakfast was great."
"Lovely stay. We know Exmouth well and the location of the Imperial couldn't be better. Friendly staff, comfortable room, easy parking. Would definitely stay again next time we are that way."
"A lovely characterful hotel with a great central location in Totnes. Good sized rooms with large en-suites and all the staff were friendly and helpful helping to make it a thoroughly enjoyable visit and well worth a return trip"

The festival was on so lots going on . Just to say we think the council at Exmouth is doing a wonderful job with the town unlike other seaside towns ie Torquay, Paignton which are now in a dreadful state . Exmouth is now the pearl in the crown.

Great town with a LOT of eateries. Fantastic for sea front and longer walks along the coast path. Always seems to be 2 degrees warmer there than the rest of the country.

"Drink price changed from the previous day and ask why was told I didn’t get charged for the cordial! Otherwise really good hotel definitely stay again "
"Helpful friendly staff- great food in the restaurant- lively terraced area- rooms clean and very comfortable bed and sheets … tea and coffe making facilities on the corridors were great - "
"This is our third stay at the Imperial and it won't be our last! Very homely, friendly - nothing too much trouble. We always have a superior double with sea view - the views are fantastic. Situated on the esplanade opposite the sea, behind hotel is the park and access to the town or take a leisurely stroll along the esplanade towards the point! Lovely! The food is good here. Buffet breakfast - everything you could wish for. Evening meal is choice of 3 or 4 starters, mains and choice of three desserts. They also offer a lunch/bar daytime menu and I can thoroughly recommend the afternoon tea - delicious!! They also do cream teas. "
"I arrived early and was able to check in straight away, lovely location and room had everything you needed! Very comfy bed and friendly staff! My only niggle would be that the shower pressure wasn’t very powerful at all but it was enough for a quick shower!"
