Teignmouth is a traditional English seaside resort with good transport links. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and some of the pubs are particularly characterful. For the older visitor it evokes many memories of bygone holidays.

Good
The town is looking a bit sad, especially on a cold and wet February afternoon. Several restaurants seemed to have closed over the last couple of years. Sunshine of course makes everything look better.

Pleasant enough if a little run down in places. Presumably more things open in the summer
"A decent hotel with good, spacious rooms for a family of four. The staff were lovely and the breakfast options were great. My children especially enjoyed being able to make their own waffles with Nutella. We had a great stay."
"Ignore the bad reviews. This is the second year running I’ve came here with my children. The hotel is clean and the staff are really polite and helpful it’s cheaper than the other hotels in the area as it’s being refurbished the rooms are decent and lovely views if you get a sea room. "
"I love the concept of sustainability here and it has been implemented extremely well, whilst maintaining high standards. The tea/coffee/hot chocolate area on each floor rather than in rooms gave more variety, better quality and the refillable water bottle in the room to use for the filtered water at the refreshment station was excellent.
The bed was so comfy and the room was excrptionally bright, airy and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming!"
"The hotel was on the sea front, rooms were spacious and the bathroom had a walk in shower. Breakfast was good and the evening meal was very tasty. The price was reasonable and I’d recommend this hotel"
"We really enjoyed our one night stay. We had a twin room overlooking the atrium, which we booked using Tesco Clubcard vouchers. Our room was spacious and clean, and we enjoyed making use of the gym and spa facilities, which were included. "
