"Right from when we arrived at reception, everyone has has been extremely nice, the receptionist the bar staff the cleaners everyone, we couldn’t ask for. The room was lovely and clean, the bed was really comfy, the bathroom was spotless as was the room itself, we had tea and coffee making facilities, there was plenty of wardrobe space and hangers, just perfect. "The traditional English breakfast was well worth the wait for being cooked to order, probably the best cooked breakfast I've had in years! And a nice selection of buffet items as well. In October the parking wasn't an issue, but I can imagine its more problematic at busy times of year. The building is nearly 200 years old so I can forgive the creaky floorboards, but the bed we had was also very creaky which was a little annoying. Overall it was excellent value for money and I would stay again."
