"Excellent hotel "

"I cannot rave enough about this place. Right in the heart of Taksim Square. Amazing staff- Onur helped me with the check-in process. There was also a night manager working the morning of March 19 (Can’t remember the name) he was also super amazing. Because of the time difference my daughter had woken up around 4am, so we went to the lobby to see if anything was available to eat or drink. He kindly offered us juices and coffee for myself and then told us to go for the suhoor that was starting shortly. A highly recommended place to stay solo or with family. "

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Rixos Tersane Istanbul. The surrounding area is beautiful, peaceful, and very well designed. The lobby area was especially artistic, full of beautiful artwork that gave the place a unique and elegant atmosphere. The service was excellent, and all the staff were very kind, professional, and spoke English fluently, which made everything very comfortable for us. A special thank you to Sofia for her kindness and professionalism; she made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended, and we will definitely be coming back."

"The breakfast was a complete let down.. I am a Pescatarian, no fish/ Salmon available.. no beans , no hash browns, no plant based foods available.. For the price, a complete con.. , The reception staff, not very helpful, the Porter, just want to get you a taxi, so they earn commission… The house keeping staff , the lady who cleaned the room, were very nice.. Also the pool/ Gym opens at 10am- 10pm… most people want to use before they start there days… steam wasnt working.. aHave to buy a cap, if you want to use pool… Ask the receptionist, about any nice places to eat, totally unhelpful.. porter, ai felt was rude, asking the reception about costs for shuttle, Porter says you have to talk to me… he was worried about his commission.. wanted 45 Euros.. got a yellow taxi outside the hotel for 32 Euro to IST.. It was because the short porter was rude , I decided to not go for shuttle.. then made enquiries for the Taxi, and saved money.."

"The negative reviews (Taksim location) are definitely competitors sabotage! Ignore the noise and book it! Expedia has the best price! From live chefs cooking stations to pristine rooms (sanctuary of comfort), and Iconic Landmarks Views, it’s an incredible value! Highly Recommend at The Marmara Hotel in TAKSIM District in Istanbul (5 stars hotel). The BREAKFAST - bounty array of fresh dishes, and made to order stations that cater to every craving; premium quality of food, bread, fruits and drinks, simply unbeatable price! The LOUNGE ACCESS is a magnificent view to landmarks with affordable value for all they provide- the curated drink menu and gourmet small plates not to mention the artisan pastries, made me feel like VIP! The SPA & The POOL The Starbucks next door. We were ASTONISHED by all the beauty of the hotel (better than Central Park’s NY hotels). The videos & website’s hotel cannot capture the magnificent views, the superb hospitality all the staff who provided a royal treatment in a sophisticated atmosphere! "My wife and I stayed here while I was getting a medical procedure done. I think it is used by several different facilities because many of the people who stay here have been to get something done so you will fit right in LOL. It is convenient for that but there really isn't anything else close by that you will enjoy to do. It is a safe area though. The staff are excellent and very helpful. They have two restaurants there. The roof top one is on the expensive side. The one on the main floor was quite decent and respectably priced. The breakfast buffet was quite good and included with our room package but if you had to buy it separately I don't think I would because the stand alone price for it was expensive. They have Spa facilities there although we didn't have time to use them. We looked at them but personally I don't think we would use them because it seems a bit old school. Meaning men go here, women go there, I don't think you are allowed to go together. Good comfortable sleep. Very respectably priced. Only improvement I could suggest that they make is to enable you to watch your Netflix account on the TV because there is almost no English TV for you to watch.
