We have been staying at this hotel for the past three years and have always appreciated our stays. However, this time was a very disappointing experience. We understand that the hotel is somewhat outdated, but the condition of the room we were given was unacceptable. We were allocated a ground-floor room with a horrible smell, to the point that we couldn’t wait to leave. Considering the rates are not cheap, we expected at least basic facilities and a reasonable standard of maintenance. Unfortunately, the bathroom was in poor condition, with visible damage that had clearly not been addressed, along with very old and unpleasant taps and fittings. As returning guests, it was particularly disappointing to see such a lack of maintenance and investment in the property. The experience was bad enough that I have now cancelled our future booking. This is especially disappointing after staying with you for the past three years. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues, because at the current standard, the experience does not justify the prices being charged.

We loved this inn. The owners, Greg and Lou were so charming and helpful. The location is perfect, just outside the city walls on a quiet street adjacent to a large park. The gym and yoga studio were wonderful and so nice to have right there. There is also a sauna and cold plunge, which we did not use. The breakfast was great. Our room was spacious, clean, and charming. We give this a 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend.
