"The bathroom is very good, great design, everything has been thought of, but the sleeping area wasn’t great, it was so small, most of it is taken up by the huge bed frame and clunky faux marble table. We had a really long walk to our room with no lifts There was a wedding on Saturday and our room was literally next to the party! Roof top terrace is literally a terrace, you have to buy your very expensive drink from the bar and carry it yourself up to the roof terrace. Breakfast needs more variety Staff were very attentive and helpful and the location is fantastic. However it’s not worth the amount we spent per night"

"The staff were brilliant and very helpful with everything we asked for. However, whilst in the bar there was a long wait to be served and guests were having to locate the bar assistant from other parts of the hotel. It may be advantageous to instruct a staff member to be present permamntly, especially when busy. On the Saturday it was busy and the restaurant ran out of eight basic foods items' resulting in two options available. This was at 7.30pm. Please note we did very much enjoy our stay, but these things would refrain us from recommending you to our friends. Thank you for a relaxing stay."

Very clean and the host (Alice) very friendly and helpful. it is beautifully placed and our room overlooked the Musselburgh Racecourse/ golfing green. Breakfast (though continental) was very nice and you were able to choose what you wanted and at what time and this was brought up to your room in a lovely basket. Our whole stay there was lovely and would definitely stay there again :)"
