This property is beautiful, and our villa was quintessential and lovely Italian, but not walkable to the city center. We were in the furthest villa at the end of the property and it was difficult to communicate to taxi drivers our pickup location (which we needed to use every time we went somewhere). It was also considered still ‘winter’ so the breakfast buffet was closed and breakfast was delivered in a box to the door outside. Not impressed with the restaurant on the property.

You need a car to stay in this property. Hotel has a lot of green areas with amazing views. Bed is not comfortable and shower is kind of weird. Long distance from Florencia but I did not mind because I had a car but if you do not have a car, you will be spending lots of money to get to the areas you want to visit. Checkin is ONLY available 4PM - 7 PM.

This place was so beautiful. It was the most Tuscan of Tuscan places I’ve ever been. I felt like I was living in a Renaissance painting. The room was very nice, clean, but also old and had a ton of character. I wish I could’ve lived there the rest of my life.

Beautiful setting in the Tuscan countryside about a 25 minute drive into Florence. First room was moldy smelling and had a pool of water in the middle of the room. We were given an ‘upgrade’ to a newer building. Shower was barely lukewarm with very low pressure. No housekeeping in our 5 night stay. When we asked for toilet paper the guy was grumpy about it reminding us that we had been upgraded. Weather was cool and damp but no heating and the towel racks didn’t work so towels were damp. Very limited front desk access. Apartment was very basic but bed was clean and comfortable

Property was amazing and the breakfast was amazing! Found a pair of men’s underwear in the room. The room was very dimly lit and the bed extremely hard. Loved the ability to walk about the property and the fact that late checkin was accommodated.

We had a lovely stay at Fattoeia Il Milione! The apartments have everything you would need on vacation and even to work remotely. We had the greatest view of Florence and the staff was very helpful. Also highly recommend their Osteria Il Milione, the food is delicious 5 ⭐️

Scary road to property. Almost got hit by driver coming towards us-she was driving across the center of road tooo fast. Both ways to get to property are small narrow winding road. Small cars probably ok. Big cars not for the faint of heart. But once you get there beautiful room .has washing machine (no dryer). Totally quiet peaceful spot

Charming rural escape
If your looking for something just outside Florence, for exploring this is a magical place, you can chill by the pool, wander the grounds and watch the local wildlife. Florence is a tram ride away. I would recommend a car as it is just that bit far out and taxis can work out expensive.

This property wasn’t a place I would usually book due to our accommodation being more rustic than I was expecting. However, we found the grounds so peaceful and the views so stunning, that I would go back there. The pool was lovely, the breakfast was amazing and the staff were helpful. We bought and prepared dinner one night and ate outside under a natural pergola and it was very romantic. A good place to stay for those who like the countryside, but also comfortable accommodations.

Don’t stay here
The owner is patronising and not helpful. We were told after arrival that the reception/pool/breakfast serving was a 15 mins walk from the apartment. The walk is dangerous and uphill and no mode of transport is provided to and from. If you were a less able/elderly person this walk would be impossible, and it’s not advertised at all. Reception closes at 8pm. Taxis are hard to come by. We waited an hour to get a taxi and were told ‘it’s common sense to book the night before’, and we’ve never had this issue before. Even if it was the case it would be nice to get this information beforehand as we are not familiar with the area, thus would actually book beforehand. We were told public transport to the area is also unreliable. The location is very remote. Wouldn’t stay again and definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Excellent location for a family who is travelling by car. Facility is on a top of a tuscany hill close to florence, sienna, luxury outlets. Breakfast was ok, pillows were a bit hard, and you need to wait for water to warm up

This was a great place to stay. Getting away from the business and chaos of the city was a relief and this stay gave us just that. The pool was great and the breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. Wish we would have had more time to stay. Wish the AC would have been a bit better as well, because it was very hot at night. Nonetheless, we would stay again!

This place is really old and very interesting, it’s up in the hills around Florence in a beautiful area. Just the drive up the winding hills through such an historic and upscale area was worth the price. It just has an ‘old Italian villa’ feel to it. It was one of the neatest places I’ve ever stayed because of that. Our stay was very relaxing and the pool was great! The rooms are as you would expect of such an old place like staying in a castle or something. Not modern, but classy and rustic.This place isn’t like a modern hotel. It’s almost 500 years old and has just the charm of that. My daughter and I loved it. I read some complaints in its reviews, but I think that the people complaining are more the kind of folks that prefer McDonald’s to a 400 year old restaurant, or a stay at the Hilton to a stay in a grand old Italian villa. You could feel the history there. I guess it depends what you like. The price was very reasonable for what I feel I experienced and would love to go back, it was perfect for my tastes.

Wonderful property with fantastic views. Rooms could use some updating and better lighting, but were generally comfortable. Rooms need more blankets. Bugs are a problem, which should be expected when you're out in the country. Just get some bug spray and repellent. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Electric car charging is available, but is expensive. Roads on the property are rough. The pool is clean and well maintained, and the weight room/gym, while small, is decent. Towels are provided. Transportation to/from is going to be your car or a taxi. There's a walkable bus stop nearby but it looks dangerous to wait for a bus there, as it's literally on the side of the road with no sidewalk or waiting area. Roads are narrow and curvy here, with many one-lane roads. The on-site restaurant is excellent, but make reservations. There are several wineries within a 20 minute drive, and are highly recommended! Call to make appointment for a tasting/tour.

This property is amazing. They have everything and a generous breakfast. If you have children, you should stay in a ground-floor unit. We didn’t get in till 10:30 and the people below us were upset during the twenty minutes it took us to get everyone into bed. They were nice about it and we didn’t hear anything from the property management, but obviously the floors on the upper units are thin. Also, the toilet was broken but that’s an easy fix.

My biggest issue was the bed. It’s sagging and SO hard that we had to put the extra blankets under the bottom sheet for cushion. The “comforter” was scratchy too I couldn’t sleep with it touching my skin. We saw several ants and other bugs but that is to be expected given the location. It’s a cute place and the service was good. Breakfast was disappointing. A box full of crackers and biscuits isn’t was “breakfast included” means to me.

It was just beautiful, like a villa in Tuscany. We were all impressed with the grounds, the room, the decor, it was nice. What we didnt like was the difficulty we had finding the property, it just wasnt clear where to turn once on the small roads. Transportation, we rented a car.

Improper description and remote location
This is a farm stay, a vineyard/farmhouse as property type, whch we did not get while making our booking. We arrived their with no food in hand and the restaurant was a 20 minute walk (no other alternatives if you didn't bring a car). We had to walk uphill in almost complete darkness through wilderness to reach the restaruant. It is also pretty far from the train station and cost us 35-50 euro each time to get to the city or go back. It is a 'do it yourself' kind of place which if you are not prepared for, it can be a nuisance. But if you are looking for a family outing and have a car, it is a very nice place to get some peace an quiet outside the city.

The place was nice but it was extremely inconvenient for travelling without a car. And the taxi ride from the train station was very expensive and long. This is a place to visit with a car. But the staff was helpful.

The rooms are in desperate need of renovation. Everything in our room was extremely dated - from the mattress to the kitchen appliances. The mattress in particular was extremely old and hard. The blanket in our room was like something from the 70s itchy and rough - like the old electric type. The grounds and amenities are very run down which is a shame because there is masses of potential given the location. The The place is NOT an agritourismo property. It is a series of rooms/apartments within the grounds of a working farm but the two worlds do not meet. Even the restaurant is run by an external group. Breakfast was served in a narrow corrugated plastic tunnel - there is not much room in the space and as it rained on both mornings that we were there it was quite a squeeze - on the first morning some people chose to sit out in the rain! Overall, we were underwhelmed and disappointed.

Relaxing stay at Fattoeria Il Milione
We really enjoyed our stay at Fattoria il Milione. Loved the grounds and the restuarant atached was excellent. Breakfast was very nice and staff very friendly. We loved the location as was an easy drive into Scandicci where we could park for free and take tram into Florence, which cost very little and allowed easy access to city center.

Lovely surroundings but basic
The pool area was lovely as was the views over Tuscany. However, the informaiton about the Fattoria says there is a bus service into Florence nearby - which there wasn't. The accomodation itself was very rustic, although there was air conditioning. It says the apartments come with everything you need to cook - it definitely doesn't! We had one sharp knife in the apartment which was a bread knife and no wooden spoons etc. Felt it would have been nice if they at least provided some cleaning equipment - just tea towels, scrubbing brush, small washing up liquid for example. One member of staff was lovely, the other we interacted with was very sharp with us which wasn't pleasant.

A magical place in the Tuscan hills
We stayed in the “Piazalle Limone” apartment for two nights in July 2018. This apartment is large with three rooms - a master bedroom, large living room with a comfortable pullout couch, and a fully equipped kitchen with a four burner gas stove, large toaster oven and even a dishwasher. The furniture was all solid wood and some appeared antique, or at least old and was all in perfect condition. We had a private terrace with a wood table and chairs. The pool was beautiful, clean, warm, and deep enough for a proper diving board. Many loungers and umbrellas were provided. The views from the large property are indescribably beautiful. From some places, you can look down on Florence itself. The Osteria del Milione restaurant should not be missed. There are Tuscan specialities at a reasonable price a short stroll from the main building. All in all, it is a magical place we were sad to leave. One tip: Get all of your supplies to stock your kitchen before you come up if you want to stay on the property (which you will). There is only breakfast buffet 8:00-9:30 and vending machines available.

Perfect, Comfortable, Rustic Location for Florence
Already living in Italy, this was our first visit to Florence and wanted to stay for a few days at a location that was not completely in the centre of the city, but near enough for a short trip by car. Fattoria is perfectly set in a beautiful location 25 minutes outside the city and undoubtedly provides a relaxing, rustic; but true sense of comfortable Italian living in wonderful part of the Northern Italian countryside. The staff were extremely attentive, fluent in multiple languages and ready to meet all of the needs of the customers. Although located within an olive grove and surrounding farmland, the complex provided all facilities that you would need, such as pool, small gym, tennis courts etc etc and all presented in a tidy and well maintained way.

Not a cozy but a farmhouse without maintenance
This farmhouse is definitely not the cozy type because I could not see their heart or passion to run the business. First, the receptionist is more arrogant than many people I came across in Italy . (Definitely he is not the service type).. and the whole farmhouse is huge but lack of maintenance. I cannot say the farmhouse is dirty but definitely do not care the details. They dont bother to mow the grass; don't check the light bulb and the lamp in the room not working at all ; never bother to think if the bed sheets all over the places in the terrace for drying is annoying to the guests.. A kind of lack of passion or care to DO GOOD JOBS but just run it, keep it until the end of the world. But do they care? Not at all! I live in Italy, there are plenty of farmhouse or bed & breakfast running with great passion! And this one is far from the list! PS BTW, their photos on the web is far more gorgeous than the reality

Stayed here for 4 nights, very nice rustic setting. Friendly helpful staff, would visit again. Need a car but only 6 km from Florence centre. Lovely area.

Lovely area, rustic surroundings in nature but beautiful old apartment style living. Grounds are pretty but simple, nice views, hilly walking. 10 min drive into two nearby towns for groceries, also a monastery and only 25 min drive into Florence. Cool different spot to stay!
