"Great location near the sea. The hotel is old and characteristic but clean. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the receptionist as she helped with the parking and provided useful info."

"Great place to stay before the shuttle crossing. Warm welcome when we arrived and the breakfast to go is a really nice touch. One point to note, the bed we stayed in had a footboard so if you are tall the bed can be uncomfortable. When I asked if all beds were like this, after we stayed, I didn’t get a response."

"Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays."
