We ate in the onsite restaurant one evening, sensibly priced and great food, again the staff were exceptional. We loved the use of the pool and its other facilities. "The hotel does not have A/C and I stayed during a record-breaking heat wave. I was fortunate to have a room with adjacent windows, and the room had a good fan. Munford is a quiet town, and I was able to leave the windows open at night and get a good night's sleep. I imagine some of the other rooms were less comfortable than mine due to the extreme heat. They have a nice made to order breakfast and there is a delightful pub in the hotel which offers good quality but typical pub meals."
