Property and staff were great. Only negative is that they charge you tk rent a bike .. which is kind of silly.

Nice hotel and property. BUT the rooms are 50 years outdated. The bed was rock hard. The sheets /duvet is a floral table cloth from 1980. It’s amazing they charge so much. They spend tons on the grounds, and resto and everything else. And it feels and looks like your sleeping on your grandmas spare bedroom. If they can figure this out I would have given it 4 stars.

No where on the website was it mentioned that it would be €100-€200 a day for a sunbed on the beach. We chose this hotel specifically as the final 2 days of our honeymoon where we had been travelling around northern Italy so we could relax on the beach. The alternative was a small shady pool. The rooms at night were also incredibly loud - every time someone walked upstairs it would wake us up. One particularly bad instance was relentless at 5am. On a positive note - Vittoria on reception and Andrea in the bar were both outstanding hosts.

Nice hotel well located. Unfortunately beach isn’t included and fairly expensive and they didn’t have any bikes available which is kind of a must for forte dei marmi. Beside that breakfast is top notch and the hotel is very nice and clean.

I stayed in the old part of the hotel because the new one was fully booked. The old part was too far from the spa and swimming pool, it was uncomfortable.

Luxury and exclusive
Very nice luxury hotel. Service was outstanding and the beach club even better. Downside - fellow guests stares and glares like you are martians. Guess some are not used to out of towners finding their local exclusive resort

2 night stay in Augustus hotel, (or so we thought)
Booked superior room in Augustus Hotel For a 2 night stay prior to a one week villa holiday on the outskirts of Florence. On arrival we were informed that our room was not on the main hotel complex but at the Hotel Lido 50 yards or so on the opposite side of the road. This turned out to be a very nice villa and although closer to the beach club had non of the usual hotel facilities such as bar, restaurant etc. My problem is that at no time during my booking was there any indication that the room we had booked was not in the main hotel complex or grounds. Had we known this we would not have made the booking. We booked a 2 night 5 star hotel stay, not a villa stay.

Hotel splendido esternamente, immerso nel verde perfettamente curato. Le camere sono belle ma un po' datate. Non riesco a dare il massimo dei voti ad una camera senza bidet. Infine non avevamo con noi il dentifricio e abbiamo richiesto un "kit denti" alla reception ma ci hanno risposto che non era disponibile. La spiaggia magnifica e il personale molto professionale ed educato. Da provare ovviamente.

Hotel storico, vecchia residenza della famiglia Agnelli. Molto grande e ben curato anche se una ristrutturazione non guasterebbe. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile.

Ottima struttura personale cordiale sia in hotel che sulla spiaggia. Peccato non aver avuto tempo di usufruire della SPA che vista da fuori sembrava meravigliosa. Ottimo anche il ristorante per la cena e la sala colazione ricca di ogni ben di Dio.

Fijn hotel met veilige sfeer en warm welkom
We hebben genoten van dit hotel omdat er heel veel zorg besteed wordt aan het verblijf van de gasten. De kamers zijn zeer schoon. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op het besloten terras kan in alle rust iets worden gegeten of gedronken. De kleine hapjes en lunches zijn uiterst verzorgd. Tafellinnen wordt op de tafels gelegd om het eten, of het drinken van thee met biscuitjes, nog feestelijker te maken. Het privé strand ligt op ca 100 meter van het hotel. Het is bereikbaar via de (enige van de boulevard) besloten tunnel / onderdoorgang van de boulevard. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed. Zowel biologische producten, streekproducten als een 'english breakfast'. Zeer compleet. De sport faciliteiten zijn eveneens mooi en nieuw (technogym). Kortom, een ervaring om lang van na te genieten. Wellicht volgend jaar weer!

Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Einzig die Essenspreise auf schweizer Niveau waren etwas überraschend. Für eine Pizza 20 Euro. Ausserhalb des Hotels eine Pizza 8 - 10 Euro.
