Oriental Hotel Fukuoka Hakata Station
8/10 Good
"Very convenient location next to the station.
Breakfast was good.
Rooms comfortable. "

Hotel Hokke Club Fukuoka
10/10 Excellent
"Breakfast was great and delicious. Close to Hakata station which is great also.
It will be appreciated if extra fee for the hotel stay will be noted during the booking. Extra fee is not expensive but still it will be great if the fee is posted on their website. "

Tokyu Stay Hakata
10/10 Excellent
"It was our first time booking a room with a washing machine and dryer to ourselves!
It was convenient and the dryer was much more effective than the shared ones we have used in other hotels and air bnbs. You don’t have to air dry the clothes much after taking it out. It was good to have the microwave and kettle within reach as well.
We appreciate the amenities provided at the lobby, there was a good range of teas and it was fun trying them out. The room was clean and well equipped.
One tip: get the ear plugs from the lobby and use them to block out the sound of the railway tracks. It’s highly effective!

THE LIVELY FUKUOKA HAKATA
10/10 Excellent
"Had a pleasant stay"

THE BLOSSOM HAKATA Premier
4/10 Poor
"Breakfast not offered in hotel but in restaurant 2 floors below the Lobby. Quality of food on offer 3 stars or below. We paid over $330 per night for a small room, old furniture, old carpets and mattresses on beds almost as hard as lying on bricks. This hotel in NO WAY deserves a 9.4 rating. We were very disappointed with the quality of this hotel. The only exceptional feature of this hotel was the staff. My advice is AVOID this hotel. "

Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Fukuoka
8/10 Good
"The Hollywood triple room was smaller than we expected for three people, our 3 big luggages barely fit & opening them made it even tighter. I’ve stayed here before in a bigger room, which I definitely preferred, but it wasn’t available this time.
That said, the location is excellent, close to everything & the underground passages are super convenient once you get used to them. I also love that it’s connected to a mall, so there’s always something to do nearby. The bathtub & mist shower feature are great. Just remember to ask for bath salts at the 6th floor lobby during check in if you want to fully enjoy the tub, great after a long day of walking & exploring!"

Nishitetsu Grand Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay at Nishitetsu Grand Hotel. The superior triple room was very spacious, perfect for three of us with about seven luggages. The double beds were big enough that we didn’t even need the third (foldable futon sofa bed), so we folded it up & used it as a sofa, which made the room feel even bigger. Definitely one of the more spacious rooms I’ve stayed in Japan. The hotel itself is a bit older, but very clean & well kept.
The elevators are fast but close quickly, so you have to move fast with your luggage or risk getting cut off. One downside was the AC, it’s centrally controlled & it got pretty warm. You can call staff to adjust it, which helps, but afterward you can’t really fine-tune the temperature."
