Property, especially some parts of the room (bathroom/tub, counters, windows, shower curtain) were very worn/old, and didn't look the most hygienic. They really need to renovate, felt like parts of the property were still in the 70's or 80's.

Overall a very nice hotel in a convenient location. Didn't feel "luxury" to me per see, but it was nice. Very clean. The service was attentive and friendly. My only big complaint is a weird one - they had sliding bathroom doors in our room with no locks and at many points they would spontaneously ope while someone was using the toilet, making for an unnecessarily awkward experience. They should change those doors.

We were booked into a room immediately above an event floor where a wedding was taking place. Loud music began at 11:30 pm and continued until after 1 am. We were not informed about this at check in or given any option to switch rooms until we phoned reception at 11:30 pm. We were told that the music would stop at midnight but it did not. The reason given was that the hotel security were unable to control the event. Very disappointed in what should have been a pleasant stay in a beautiful hotel.
