"This is a delightful property, set well back off the road, so very quiet. It is extremely well equipped with everything we needed. (And for babies and children too)The house is more like second home with lots of charm and with a lovely mature garden. It is totally secure with lots of parking too. We met our host both when we anrrived and left and she was both wonderful and very helpful. Overall this was a very clean and comfortable house and we loved it. "

"A charming single story hotel in the countryside with views of at least 4 castles from the property. Our room had access to the patio(terasse) where we could sit outside and enjoy the weather. Easy drive to go out for dinner to multiple charming towns and villages. Very friendly and helpful staff, good continental breakfast. We liked it so much we decided to stay 2 extra nights. Good place to base yourself and explore the region."

A few small quibbles, none dispositive: the master bedroom bed won't agree with side sleepers and needs replacing, The poolhouse bed was represented by the delightful husband wife cleaning team as nonfunctional.The poolside stationary bike is conceptually sound but the device's maintenance has been sadly neglected and would be cyclists straddling the weather beaten wobbly seat precariously situated above an unstable and poorly designed plinth can anticipate perineal trauma.Now, if any of this discourages a stay here, I have served you poorly.Since most reviewers are not as persnickety as I am any unhappiness in an otherwise glowing review can be seen as a rule out. Glowing reviews have self-censured and so the eye is gouged and fantasy skewered by reports of imperfection. "We were met by the lovely and efficient Maryelene who answered our questions and made us feel comfortable.Characterful house containing everything you need for a good holiday. The swimming pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all the family it was just a pity that there were no shops within walking distance.We were impressed by the immediate response to the air conditioning having stopped working - a man appeared within the hour on a Sunday to fix it - thank you.Great holiday, highly recommended "
